After the figure finished its final sentence, it vanished completely, leaving only Mo Ling standing there, filled with warmth.

"What's wrong, Lu Youqi?" Mo Ling asked with concern.
"I can't really walk anymore..." Lu Youqi said weakly.
"Why?"
"It's useless. Even if we reach the Abyss Bottom, we will only have reached the Abyss Bottom. The Abyss will still exist, the world will still head toward its end, and humanity's strength is limited. We will eventually face endless despair."
Hearing Lu Youqi's words, Mo Ling immediately understood. Just like he had before, Lu Youqi had fallen into that spreading despair.
