The laboratory became busy again.
Ever since the cube had awakened, the institute had not rested. The laboratory lights remained on at all times, and hurried footsteps echoed through the corridors.
Yet these "seekers of truth" in white lab coats showed not the slightest complaint. Instead, they were exceptionally excited, their dark-ringed eyes filled with fighting spirit, like tireless machines...
"The cube's gravity wave has vanished. It can no longer be displayed on the gravity net. Where it is now is a complete void."
"A void? How could that be? Let me see..."
A group of researchers gathered around the screen, staring at the gravity net image rendered by the simulation software with strange expressions.
Within the crisscrossing, densely packed gravity lines was a perfectly clean Cubical Void. Whenever a gravity line passed through that void, it vanished outright before reappearing on the other side, as though it had been "hidden."
Logically, gravity lines should not be severed. Force was transmissible; there was no such thing as a "broken force." Yet the forces on both sides of the void were indeed cut off, while somehow remaining connected in an incomprehensible manner. Tugging one side would still cause a reaction on the other.
"I have a feeling... the force is being transported over. It passes from one side of the cube to the other without touching the cube itself, directly crossing over it. Every force that passes through the cube undergoes this kind of transport."
"That does seem to be the case. Otherwise, a gravitational void wouldn't have appeared..."
"What about the resistance the cube encountered while flying? Did we monitor how that worked?"
"We did. It was directly connected to the other side as well. Group B just told me that their Particle Observation Machine observed a Quantum Leap with
