"Is that the name of Abyss City in this world?"
In Mo Ling's world, the city built above the Abyss did not bear this name, but its meaning was remarkably similar.
"Why does Dawn City feel so familiar? I feel like I've heard of it somewhere... I even feel like I've been there."
"How could that be? Aren't I from another world? How could I have been to this world's Abyss City?"

He seemed to have visited Dawn City more than once...
He remembered wandering aimlessly through the city, looking at its advanced facilities. He seemed to have even strolled into Dawn City's library.
He remembered sitting blankly in a strange courtyard, then leaving it and going to school in Dawn City.
"Why was I attending school in Dawn City?"
He also remembered monsters fighting within Dawn City: a god radiating brilliant golden light from head to toe, and a Dragon King rolling through the clouds...
"What was all that?"
Mo Ling vigorously knocked on his cube head.
Those dreamlike scenes were too difficult for him to believe had truly happened. Mo Ling would rather believe there was something wrong with his memories.
"I probably haven't been to Dawn City. Maybe I just saw similar scenes in a movie or on the news, and my memories got mixed up..."
As Mo Ling wrestled with those jumbled fragments, he suddenly noticed that the bus interior had darkened. Something seemed to be blocking the view beyond the windows.
He immediately leaned out to look, only to find enormous metal pillars standing outside, rising all the way into the sky, even taller than the shuttle's tracks.
