"What?" Lu Youqi wore a confused expression.
"It's nothing..." Martin hurriedly changed the subject. "Remember to hold on tight. The world's Root System is complicated. I need to focus on selecting the nodes, so I might not be able to look after you."

Those "donuts" quickly filled the entire Glass Jar, and the instant it was full, the surroundings of Martin and Lu Youqi shattered into countless scattered pixels.
Like toppled building blocks, all the pixels collapsed, turning into colorful beads that pattered onto the ground before springing back up as though fitted with springs.
After the beads landed once more, they accelerated again. Every time they struck the ground, their kinetic energy intensified. With each launch, they grew faster and faster, passing through the air, through Martin and Lu Youqi's bodies.
