Momentary changes in expression could not be hidden, especially since none of the Demolition Team members had any intention of hiding them. Their emotions were written all over their faces.
"Do you remember seeing anything that didn't belong in the mine pit?" the spokesperson continued.
The Demolition Team members still shook their heads in confusion.
"What about this?" The spokesperson took a photograph from the assistant behind him.
The photograph showed a small piece of Silver Smooth Metal lying amid the jagged rubble of the mine pit.
"Isn't this Stainless Steel?" one of the Demolition Team members said calmly as he took the photo.
"This isn't Stainless Steel. This is the kind of mineral I was talking about," the spokesperson explained solemnly.
The member holding the photo studied it closely for a while but still saw nothing unusual. He turned and passed the photo to the others.
After all twenty members had looked at it, the spokesperson asked again, "Do you remember this thing? It appeared all over the mine pit."
"No," everyone answered in unison.
Seeing that he could get nothing out of the Demolition Team members, the spokesperson turned to look at the important figure behind him. The important figure waved a hand at him, seemingly telling him there was no need to continue questioning them.
But perhaps the spokesperson did not want to end the interrogation so quickly. He leaned close to the important figure and spoke with him in a low voice for a while.
Before long, someone entered from outside carrying a box.
"Everyone, let me show you something."
The spokesperson took the box and removed the item inside.
It was precisely that metal resembling Stainless Steel.
The spokesperson's hand trembled slightly as he held the metal. His expression was grave, as though he were
