"God, what is an eagle?" a Transparent Race member beside them asked tremulously.
The Goddess was remarkably patient as she explained, "The eagle in Eagle Catches Chicks. The chicks are still here, but the eagle is gone. You have already lost."

"Could these Transparent Race people have played Eagle Catches Chicks with the Origin Cell?"

She began explaining the rules of the game in exhaustive detail, like an NPC in a game's beginner tutorial.
Her calm, mechanical, beautiful voice explained the origins of Eagle Catches Chicks with perfect clarity, even going back to the story of the Transparent Race's ancestors.
Only then did Mo
