With Cold Tide's low voice, the Mutated Army flooded into the mountains.
They clearly could not see the rugged slopes. The moment they stepped onto them, they fell in droves, but quickly scrambled back up.
The steep slopes slowed their advance considerably. At the same time, Cold Tide gave the order to attack the Mutated Army.
A group of Cold Night Tribe members who had long been lying in ambush leaped out from behind the rocks. Each of them held a pitted Ox Horn.
They immediately planted the horns along the Mutated Army's path, then swiftly retreated, afraid of being contaminated by the mutation.
After the horns pierced the rock walls, they began to tremble, and the pits on them suddenly started moving.
They "crawled" along the horns into the holes in the rock wall, then leaped from the small holes pierced by the horns into larger holes. Like soap bubbles constantly merging together, they grew bigger and bigger...
In the end, they became a bottomless Great Pit. Just then, the front ranks of the Mutated Army stepped onto its edge. They wanted to retreat, but more mutants surged in from behind them.
Thus, those blind mutants fell straight in.
The mutants that fell into the pit let out shrill screeches, but how could they stop the ones constantly advancing behind them? They crushed against one another as more and more mutants fell into the Great Pit on the slope.
But it was not over yet. Though the pit was deep, there were simply too many mutants. They clung to the pit's edges, piling up until they formed a "human-flesh safety net." The mutants that fell afterward could grab onto their companions and slowly climb back up.
Just as the mutants were about to fill the pit with
