"Of course. I killed Flame... many times."

Han Qi hesitated for a moment before answering.

This answer greatly surprised Mo Ling.

"Many times? How many times?" he asked curiously.

"I don't remember..."

"Why did you kill it so many times?" Mo Ling continued.

Han Qi thought for a moment, then answered somewhat sheepishly, "I was trying... trying different ways to kill it."

And so, Han Qi began telling Mo Ling about his experiences killing Flame...

Even before he left the Cold Night Tribe, he had been trying to kill Flame.

Back then, Han Qi had kept wondering why Flame could be reborn. His initial theory was that Flame left behind part of its body as a "seed."

After the main body was killed, the seed would rapidly grow into a new individual. This new individual would look exactly like the main body and possess exactly the same abilities, completely replacing it and continuing to hunt them down.

So Han Qi had thought of using the Atomization Rule to completely divide Flame apart, preventing it from being reborn.

But atomization could only affect Flame's main body. If Flame hid its "seed" somewhere else, then after Flame was destroyed, the seed could still regenerate.

Therefore, he had to spread atomization across every part of Flame.

"Make a weapon with the Diffusion Rule and the Atomization Rule."

Once he had the idea, Han Qi acted on it. Before long, he had created a suitable weapon.

He sought out Flame himself and attacked it with that weapon.

Han Qi succeeded. The weapon atomized Flame effortlessly, but he had only succeeded halfway. The atomized Flame quickly dissipated, yet it was reborn somewhere else and swiftly found him, who had already been marked.

"There was no such thing as a seed..."

Flame was not reborn that
