"What exactly is this?"
Looking at the Glass Shards falling from between his claws, Han Qi murmured in confusion.
The Glass Shards fell to the ground, leaving only fine white dust clinging to his fur.
He lightly brushed at it, but the white dust remained firmly stuck.

Realizing something was wrong, Han Qi carefully cut off the fur coated in dust.
"Why is it stuck so tightly?"
Mo Ling also leaned closer and examined the whitened fur.
The fur tainted by the dust looked as though it had been coated in thick wall plaster. No matter what they did, they could not remove it.
"Does glass dust have properties like this too?"
Mo Ling began to doubt again whether this was really glass.
He and Han Qi looked at each other. After a moment of silence, they spoke in unison:

Han Qi shook the tuft of fur, brought it close to his heart, and carefully sensed it.
"It seems to be... some kind of sticky gelatinous substance."
After he said that, the ground covered in Glass Shards suddenly trembled. A series of gurgling sounds came from underground, as if something were wriggling beneath it.
Mo Ling suddenly felt the ground beneath his feet soften. He hurriedly looked down and discovered that the earth piled with Glass Shards was melting. Those hard fragments mixed together like heated butter, rapidly softening, fusing, and sticking together...
Before long, the ground had turned directly into sticky gel. Mo Ling tried to move, only to find himself firmly stuck and unable to budge. His feet and tail had sunk into the soft white adhesive.
"So it really is gelatinous?"
Centered on where they stood, the ground began to grow viscous. White spread rapidly in every direction, quickly replacing the scattered Glass
