"Team Leader, I'm ready."
"Then go. Act natural. Don't make anyone suspicious."
"Understood..."
Hu Le was pushed out of the Meeting Room by the Team Leader.
Standing outside the door, Hu Le sighed as a cool breeze swept over him.
Though he was clearly the youngest member of the research group, he had been saddled with a burden he should not have had to bear.
"Why did something like this fall on me again?"
He wrapped his clothes tighter around himself, trying to keep the cool breeze from feeling so cold against his body.
But as his hand brushed over his coat pocket, he felt something hard inside.
"What's this?"
Confused, he pulled the object out of his pocket.
It was black, like an old, battered usb drive...
"Team Leader."
"Why are you back so quickly?"
"This..."
Hu Le blankly handed over the Authority Tool.
The Team Leader had been about to ask a question, but when he saw the item in Hu Le's hand, he froze as well.
"Didn't you just leave?"
"I don't know."
"Where did you get it?"
"I don't know."
"..."
Looking at Hu Le, who knew nothing no matter what he was asked, the Team Leader was speechless. Helplessly taking the Authority Tool, he patted Hu Le on the shoulder. "Stop staying up late all the time. It'll damage your brain."
"No, Team Leader, this has nothing to do with staying up late..."
"Enough. It's fine as long as the mission is complete." The Team Leader cut off Hu Le's explanation and walked toward the main electronic screen in the Meeting Room with the Authority Tool.
Hu Le stood where he was, scratched his head, and checked his pockets again.
"How did that thing get into my pocket?"
"When did I ever get it?"
