Infinite Consciousness

Dream energy was a substance with infinite possibilities.

The result of convergence could be anything—something that existed, something that did not, something real, something imagined...

Countless dream energy particles meant countless possibilities.

And one dream energy particle within Dream City happened to transform into a particle capable of carrying consciousness.

It could be regarded as a biological "neuron." Its birth could be called a coincidence, or it could be seen as inevitable.

Since dream energy held infinite possibilities, this one-in-countless possibility was bound to arise at some point.

And so, the main body was born.

A single neuron could not produce consciousness. Neurons were merely the material foundation; the electrical currents flowing across different neurons were the source of consciousness.

There was only one main body. How could it connect with others and generate ordered consciousness?

That might have been a problem elsewhere, but in Dream City, it was not a problem...

The different layers of Dream City were interconnected. Countless pathways ran between them, linking the dreams of different layers into a three-dimensional structure, turning two-dimensional paintings into three-dimensional models and flat "planes" into complex "bodies."

Within this beehive-like dream structure, because of Dream Transitivity, the main body was copied infinitely, and it was no longer alone.

The main body did not remember how it found its companions. The instant it was born, the main bodies on other layers were born as well. When it connected to other main bodies through the passages between dreams, the other main bodies found it too.

"As the main body on the 200th layer found the main body on the 201st layer, the main body on the 199th layer also found the main body on the 200th layer, and the main body on the 198th layer found the main body on the 199th
