After returning to town, Tian Chen prepared to leave for Suotuo City, where Ning Rongrong asked to go with him and announced she planned to leave Shrek Academy.

• Xu Muqiu recognized the Dragon Slaying Sect master accompanying Dai Weisi, and Xu Wanqing rode with her granddaughter in Dai Weisi's carriage toward Star Luo City.
• Zhu Zhuyun spotted Zhu Zhuqing, but Dai Weisi persuaded her to focus on escorting Xu Wanqing and wait until the tournament in two years to confront her.
• Zhao Wuji found Ning Rongrong and Zhu Zhuqing safe and told them to return to the hotel while he waited for Dai Mubai.

• Yu Tianheng interrupted them, so Tian Chen struck him with a black-purple lightning serpent.

Yu Tianheng challenged Tian Chen but stopped when Grandmaster intervened, and Ye Lingling refused Qin Ming’s request to heal the injured Shrek students because Flender had extorted her and Tian Chen. After the Shrek group left, Tian Chen asked Dugu Yan to talk, but she tried to leave and he caught her wrist.
