• Tsuchimikado Arina explained that the development company was trying to force Tsuchimi Village to surrender its land, and she joined the villagers confronting them.
• When the company’s suited representative ordered his transcendents to begin cutting down trees, Chen Nian used Sovereign to force him and more than a dozen others to their knees.
• Chen Nian gave the suited man a business card and released Sovereign, allowing him to stand and leave to seek reinforcements.
• The suited man described the card to his manager at the Tokyo Transcendent Association, who recognized Mountains and Rivers in Lasting Peace as Buyu’s guild and ordered him to return immediately.

Chen Nian drove off the men threatening the village, then returned to the formation with Tang Rou and learned that Tamamo-no-Mae had completed the trap for Abe no Seimei. Abe no Seimei arrived, saw through the formation, and summoned all seven remaining Divine Generals against Tamamo-no-Mae.

• Chen Nian made the suited man and his companions apologize to the villagers, then left with Tang Rou.
