Chapter Summaries

Sasuke and Kakashi defeated the Asura Path, but the Animal Path summoned him away for the Hell Path to repair. As the battle spread across Konoha, Sasuke and Kakashi rushed to support Xia Mu, while Neji defied a Main Family member’s attempt to use the Caged Bird Seal on him.

• Yakumo defeated the Hell Crab and attacked the Yatagarasu with lightning while Aoba and Tatsuya supported her.
• Sasuke and Kakashi fought the Asura Path, and Sasuke used Susanoo to withstand its head-mounted laser before crushing it.
• The Animal Path summoned the defeated Asura Path away, so Sasuke and Kakashi sought intelligence and learned Xia Mu was fighting Deva Path Pain, the Hell Path, and the Animal Path.
• Yamato joined Genma Shiranui, Namiashi Raidō, and Iwashi Tatami against the Human Path and told them Kakashi and Sasuke were heading to help Xia Mu.
• Neji refused Hyuga Steel Plate’s demand for protection, and the Caged Bird Seal failed to control him.

Neji revealed that his Byakugan had evolved into the Tenseigan, freeing himself from the Caged Bird Seal and earning the Hyuga clan’s reverence before flying to aid Xia Mu. Across the battlefield, Tenten sealed Haku and Zabuza with Six Paths Tools, then joined Gaara and learned that Black Zetsu had stolen the tissue and rings needed for the enemy’s plans.
