Lin Ze did not return to Ministry of Magic, but directly "Apparition" went to an alley near Old Port.

Old Port are completely different places during the day and at night.

Trucks carrying goods came and went, workers carried sacks and ran on the gangplank, and the whistles of supervisors mixed with the sound of the friction of chains.

Lin Ze bypassed several rows of cargo piles and walked towards the direction of warehouse No. 7.

Before I even got there, I saw a faded hemp rope pulled at the door of the warehouse. A few Muggle were standing there with their heads in the air, but were stopped outside by two uniformed policemen.

It looks like the body has been taken away.

A human figure was drawn on the ground with white gray, and there were still a few pools of half-dried blood marks in the white gray lines, attracting a bunch of blowflies buzzing around in that area.

It's really a waste, I don't even eat anything that falls on the ground...

Lin Ze didn't come close and looked at it from a distance for a while.

A Muggle policeman wearing a beige windbreaker was questioning. The person being questioned was an old man with a hunchback, dancing and gesticulating with panic on his face.

Lin Ze turned around and left.

He walked around to the back of the warehouse. The entrance to the basement had been sealed with iron sheets yesterday, and there were still a few black marks left where the nails had been driven.

"Fuck."

He knelt down and picked up a small piece of broken glass in the corner with a half-burned candle end inside.

Lin Ze was about to put things away when his heart suddenly tightened.

The perception brought by Dragon Transformation was like a needle, pricking him.

He turned his head.

Across the street, a man in a dark blue duffle coat was looking at him.

The man was tall, with broad shoulders, and wore an old hunting hat with a low brim, covering the upper half of his face.

Lin Ze saw the corner of his mouth move, as if he smiled, then turned around and walked into the pile of goods next to him, and disappeared after a few steps.

When Lin Ze chased after him, the man had already disappeared.

When Lin Ze returns to Ministry of Magic, he gives the cup of dark stuff he "saved" yesterday to Carl for analysis.

While holding the glass bottle filled with black-red liquid and placing it on Carl's table, Carl was studying a weird-shaped alchemy device.

"Help me check and see what this thing is."

Carl looked up at the glass bottle, then at Lin Ze, and curled his lips.

"Why do you keep sending me these shabby things lately?"

"He who can do the hard work, Group Three can't turn without you." Lin Ze pushed the bottle forward.

Carl put the copper piece down, picked up the bottle and looked at the light.

The liquid in the bottle has clearly separated into layers. There is a layer of dark yellow transparent liquid on top, and a layer of sticky black substance on the bottom, like diluted asphalt.

Carl unscrewed the bottle cap, frowned and fanned the mouth of the bottle with his hand.

"This thing... seems to be... plasma?"

He looked up at Lin Ze.

Lin Ze nodded. "Human blood."

Carl's hand shook and he almost dropped the bottle.

"Why didn't you tell me earlier!"

Carl was so angry that he threw the bottle on the table, turned around to get a mask and put it on his face.

"You are well-informed and want to analyze it?" Lin Ze leaned over with a smile.

Carl rolled his eyes at him, walked to the workbench in the corner, took a slender copper rod from the shelf, and tapped it lightly on the mouth of the bottle.

The black substance "Gulu" in the bottle turned over, and a layer of fine foam floated on the surface.

"There are traces of a curse in it," he said with a frown.

"This blood is not fresh. It has been there for at least two or three days. Where did it come from? The dark wizard's laboratory?"

Lin Ze shook his head and briefly explained the origin of this bottle of "Holy Blood".

Carl After listening, his mouth was half open and did not close for a long time.

"It's a shame you didn't drink it. The curse in this thing is very subtle. The curse that can make Muggle drink it and still live. Although it is not overbearing, it is definitely not a good thing."

"Those Muggle are pitiful. Their families were ruined by Dark Lord, and finally they were tricked into doing this by this cult..." Lin Ze said with some emotion.

"Poor people must be hateful." Carl shook his head.

Lin Ze didn't answer. He went back to his "wardrobe", pulled the door curtain, and took out Riddle's Diary.

Lin Ze spread the diary on the table, dipped the quill in ink and hung it above the page.

"Ask you something," he wrote.

The writing seeped in, and a reply emerged after a moment.

"You've been looking for me quite frequently lately."

"Stop talking nonsense, do you know Flamel?"

"Nick Flamel, the owner of Philosopher's Stone, I spent a lot of time studying him, what's wrong?"

"Did you know he once sealed a vampire?"

The reply was much slower this time.

"I know, but the time span is too big, and there are not many details that can be known. I only know that the vampire was nailed to a sarcophagus by Flamel using alchemy. Why do you suddenly ask this?"

Lin Ze pressed the pen tip on the paper, paused, and then continued writing:

"I suspect that the recent London cases of draining wizards' blood and magic power are related to that thing."

"Tell me more about the case" Riddle replied.

Lin Ze simply wrote down what happened in the past few days in a diary.

"Impossible"Riddle replied quickly.

"Alchemists' seals are often very powerful, let alone Flamel's. With Muggle's abilities, they can't even find the sarcophagus, let alone break the alchemy seal."

"What if someone is helping them behind the scenes?"

The diary was silent.

Lin Ze waited for a while before seeing the familiar line of curly fonts reappear:

"You want to say that there is a wizard manipulating them behind the scenes, trying to do something with their hatred?"

"Yes."

"Then what does this person want?"

"I don't know, but there is a ritual in that organization that uses Blood Leech Ring to collect blood. Every Muggle who joins the organization has to drink cursed blood, and then his blood is taken regularly. Those wizards who died after disappearing all had their magic power drained away, and not a drop of blood was left. What do you think they are doing?"

"Feeding." Riddle only replied with two words.

"Feeding?"

"If your guess is correct, it should be the vampire sealed by Flamel. It was severely injured when it was sealed, and it needs a lot of blood and magic power to recover. The blood of believers collected by Blood Leech Ring, plus the blood and magic power of the wizard, is enough for it to slowly recover."

"Have you ever heard of any wizards who like to hang out with such dark creatures? Or are they related to the Muggle cult?" Lin Ze asked.

The diary was quiet for a while.

"In my time, some Pure-blood families secretly raised such things."

"But I remember that that family was purged once by Dumbledore, and then stopped. However, since those Muggle can get Blood Leech Ring, that wizard must be very familiar with Dark Magic artifacts. You can check it from this line."

"Thank you." Lin Ze closed the diary after finishing writing.

Then he stood up and opened the curtain.

In the office, Ben was resting his head on the edge of the table, opening and closing his mouth and mumbling something.

"Ben."

"Ah?"

"Help me check one more thing."

"Say." Ben responded half-heartedly.

"Look at Ministry of Magic's files in the past one hundred years, and see if any Pure-blood families has been dealt with by Dumbledore because of his connection with dark creatures."

"Kill me."

"Hurry up and check. I'll treat you to Leaky Cauldron for a drink later."

Ben rolled his eyes, got up from the chair, and walked out with heavy steps.
