Lin Ze When he walked out of the alley, the robe on his body was almost reduced to strips of cloth, and not a single red mark was left on the exposed skin after the dragon scales fell off.
Sirius poked his head half out of the alley, saw the gray cloak lying scattered on the ground behind Lin Ze, and whistled.
"Where are Ben and Weiqi?"
"Everyone is fine on the roof."
Sirius breathed a sigh of relief, then pouted into the alley. "What should I do with these?"
"Help notify the subordinates to recruit people. These more than thirty people will keep them busy for a while."
Lin Ze squatted down and took out the pair of short knives from the waist of the broad-shouldered wizard.
The dark red lines lay dormant quietly on the blade and did not light up again.
He put away the dagger and rummaged through the other party's inner pocket, finding several copper keys and a crumpled piece of paper.
There was an address written on the note, the ink was very fresh, it was somewhere north of London.
Sirius came over and took a look. "Where is this?"
"I don't know, but people like Weil don't put all their eggs in one basket. This place is probably another place for him to stay." Lin Ze put the note away, stood up and patted the dust on his hands.
Ministry of Magic people arrived faster than expected.
Scrimgeour rushed to the scene with a team of Auror. When he saw the gray cloaks stacked like Arhats in the alley, he was stunned for several seconds before asking, "Did you do all this alone?"
Lin Ze nodded, Scrimgeour didn't ask any more questions, and directed his men to start tying up people.
When the broad-shouldered wizard woke up, he had already been put on magic handcuffs. Lin Ze squatted in front of him and waved the note in front of his eyes.
"Where is this place?"
The broad-shouldered man stared at the address on the note, his cheeks tensed and he said nothing.
"Okay, got it." Lin Ze put the note away.
Then he stood up and said to Scrimgeour, "I will take this person away, and you can handle the rest according to the procedures."
Scrimgeour glanced at the two of them and didn't ask any more questions, just nodded.
The broad shoulders were lifted up by Lin Ze's collar and stuffed into a Thestral carriage. Sirius followed and sat on the opposite side.
After the carriage started, Lin Ze asked, "How much did Weil give you?"
Broad Shoulder was silent for a few seconds, and replied in a hoarse voice, "A lot, so much that you Ministry of Magic lackeys won't be able to earn it in your lifetime..."
"Cruciatus Curse"
"******"
"Hey, you are very rich, but what's wrong? Are you having cramps?" Sirius looked at the man in front of him who was twitching crazily with a smile.
"Stop... stop... I... I said... I said..."
Lin Ze leaned against the car wall, closed his eyes and fell asleep, "Please show me the way."
London North, in the basement of an abandoned church.
Weil hid a batch of goods and a few confidants there. He didn't go there often, but he would stay there every time the news got serious.
The carriage stopped two streets away from the church. Lin Ze asked Sirius to stay in the car and look at the broad shoulders, while he touched it by himself.
The church is very small, with half of its spire collapsed and the base of the walls covered with moss.
The entrance to the basement is under the stone slab behind the altar. Lin Ze scanned it with "Specialis Revelio" to confirm that there was no curse trap before opening the stone slab.
The warehouse downstairs is much smaller than White Raven Chamber of Commerce's, with only three rows of iron shelves and an old desk.
There were more than a dozen boxes stacked on the shelf, and several account books and a pile of letter paper were spread out on the table. There was a camp bed in the corner with the quilt still covered, but the person had already run away.
Lin Ze flipped through the account book, which recorded White Raven Chamber of Commerce's income and expenditure details for the past three years. The date on the last page stopped at yesterday.
He picked up the pile of letters again, and one of them only contained half a page. It began with "Xio has arrived safely", and the rest was torn out.
Lin Ze put all the account books and letter paper into Undetectable Extension Box, and dug out a deerskin bag in the desk drawer, which contained more than a dozen Galleon and several land deeds registered in different pseudonyms.
The addresses on the land deed are scattered throughout England. There are several addresses that Lin Ze has seen before when checking the Weier family property, but three of them are new.
He spread out the land deeds on the table and compared them for a while, and found that two of them were located on the edge of Scottish Highlands, and one was in the suburbs of Edinburgh.
If Weil wants to run away, any of these places can be used as a temporary stop.
Lin Ze Cover the stone slab again and return to the carriage.
Sirius was poking Broad Shoulder's shoulder with a magic wand, asking questions here and there. Broad Shoulder had a look of despair on his face.
"Weil ran away, but the goods in the basement are still there." Lin Ze took out the land deed and read it over in front of Sirius, "Please help me run over these places."
Sirius took the land deed and turned it over. "Split up?"
"Well, you go to the two places on the high ground, and I'll go to the place on the outskirts of Edinburgh. Whoever finds Weil first will use the communication badge to contact him."
"What about him?" Sirius pointed at his broad shoulder with his chin.
"Send him back and lock him up until Weil is arrested and interrogated together."
Broad Shoulder muttered in the back seat, "He's gone Edinburgh a long time ago." Lin Ze and Sirius looked at him at the same time.
"He sent me a message the day before yesterday, saying that he was going south." After saying this, Broad Shoulder shut his mouth and refused to utter another word no matter how hard Sirius poked him.
"Ask me again, where is Weil?"
"I really don't know! He only sends messages. I haven't even seen what he looks like a few times!"
Lin Ze stared at his eyes for two seconds and judged that this sentence was probably true.
"Then tell me what you know."
"I know he has a place, in Holloway District, an old building, connected to the abandoned post office tunnel underground."
"Only a few of his cronies can enter that place. Those of us who work in the field are only responsible for delivering it to the door of the building."
"How many people are guarding there?"
"I don't know, but it will be no less."
Lin Ze stood up and handed his broad shoulders back to "Petrificus Totalus".
Then he turned to look at Sirius: "Take him back to the ministry first."
"What about you?"
"I'm going to Holloway District."
Sirius frowned. "Alone?"
"A person." Lin Ze nodded.
Lin Ze inserted the broad-shouldered short knife into his belt and put his wand into his cuffs. When he walked out of the alley, he turned back and added, "Let me tell Crouch that the team is quite busy right now, so I won't write an action report for the time being."
Holloway District is to the north of London, not far from King's Cross Station.
When Lin Ze used "Boundary Break" to cut through it, it was just after two o'clock in the morning.
The old building is sandwiched between a row of abandoned shops. The red bricks on the exterior walls are blackened by soot. The rolling shutter door on the first floor is pulled all the way, and a little yellow light shines through the crack in the door.
Lin Ze Go around to the back of the building. The back alley is much quieter than the front street.
He applied "Disillusionment Charm" to himself, stepped on the drainage pipe and climbed up to the second floor window sill, and the window was pinned from the inside.
The tip of the wand touched the latch and the window slid open silently.
The second floor is an empty office area, with tables, chairs and benches piled in the corner, and thick dust falling on the ground.
The lights on the first floor were on, and someone was talking, but the sound was muffled by the floorboards.
