"Hey, Mrs. Weasley."
Lin Ze walked to the kitchen and greeted Molly politely.
"Oh, Mr. Lin, it seems that the children like you very much, I mean, you can chat with them very well." Molly smiled and put down the work in his hands.
"Of course, Mr. Weasley, your children are all excellent."
"So, can you tell me the real purpose of coming to our house?" Molly asked with a chuckle.
"If it's about Ministry of Magic's secrets, just pretend I didn't ask."
"No, no, you are right, I am not here to see Mr. Arthur."
Lin Ze walked up to Molly and said in a voice that only two people could hear, "I need to explain something clearly to you, but before that, I have to use a spell. I hope you can understand."
Molly stared at Lin Ze, then nodded.
Lin Ze took out his wand and waved it lightly, and a transparent soundproof barrier unfolded around the two of them.
The sounds outside disappeared.
Lin Ze took out the big, limp rat that looked like a non-Newtonian fluid from his pocket.
"Actually, I came here for him." Lin Ze said.
Molly put down the spatula and wiped his hands on his apron.
Her expression was calm, but her brows were slightly wrinkled.
"He? Are you saying there's something wrong with this rat?"
"Yes."
"So, what is he?"
"He is a wizard, an Animagus." Lin Ze said frankly.
He felt that with Molly's wisdom, he would be able to piece it all together in a few days based on the news in the newspaper.
By then, her image in her mind will probably be severely compromised.
Rather than that, it is better to tell the truth directly to the other party now, and Mr. and Mrs. Weasley will become a member of Order of the Phoenix in the future.
So he doesn't need to worry about any problems if he tells the other party the truth in advance.
"His real name is Peter·Pettigrew, the Secret Keeper of the Potters, and the real culprit who leaked the Potters's hiding place."
Molly was stunned for a moment, and then looked at the comatose mouse in Lin Ze's hands in confusion.
"This is... the mouse that Percy picked up in the backyard a few days ago?"
"Yes, Mrs. Weasley."
Molly slowly leaned on the stove and held his forehead with his hand.
"Merlin... this mouse... I even fed it bread crumbs and made Percy..."
Speaking of this, Molly suddenly remembered how happy Percy was holding Scabbers in his arms every day, and couldn't help but cover his mouth.
"You don't have to worry." Lin Ze said.
"In order to hide his identity, he will not harm your family. The skin of Scabbers is its best disguise. If he hurts others in your home, he will be exposed. It will be a loss not worth the gain for him."
"So, he is a Death Eaters, right?"
"Yes, Mrs. Weasley."
Molly took a deep breath and removed her hand from her mouth. Her eyes had returned to calmness.
"So you came to my house today just to catch him?"
"Yes."
"Why didn't you just tell me in the first place?"
"Because I need to make sure it is Peter first, and I am not sure whether you will believe me." Lin Ze said honestly.
Molly snorted lightly.
"Mr. Lin, you took the risk to come to my house to catch a hidden Death Eaters, without disturbing any children."
"For this alone, I should thank you."
"The responsibility lies." Lin Ze put away the smile on his face and said seriously.
"Oh, by the way, I told Percy that Scabbers is a very special breed. I temporarily requisitioned him in the name of Ministry of Magic and gave him some compensation."
"Thank you, you did a great job Mr. Lin, thank you for thinking about the children."
"No need to thank you, I just hope that when he grows up and knows the truth, he won't have any psychological shadow."
Molly waved his hand, "Um...Black... how is he doing now?"
"I believe you have read the newspaper reports of his trial before. The current wand test results have come out, and the results show that he has not released Exploding Charm."
"Wizengamot has withdrawn the main charges against him, but he currently remains in the ministry."
"He was wronged, right?"
"Yes."
"Mrs. Weasley, I have one more thing to ask of you."
"You said."
"The true identity of this mouse cannot be known to anyone for the time being."
Molly glanced at him.
"Including Arthur?"
"Yes, including Mr. Weasley, but I think someone from the ministry will greet him in the next two days."
"Okay." Molly nodded.
In the distance, the children of Weasley family were talking to Old Prewett over the sofa, making Old Prewett laugh.
"That's it, I'm going back, Mrs. Weasley." Lin Ze was about to say goodbye to Molly, and at the same time removed the "Muffliato Spell" around them.
"So anxious? I made extra lunch, why not eat before leaving?"
"No, the ministry still has a lot of things to do. I'll go say goodbye to the children and leave."
Molly looked at Lin Ze, who was young and a little too young in front of him and nodded, but did not try to stay any longer.
Lin Ze smiled politely, and then walked towards Weasley family's children.
Over there on the sofa, Old Prewett is sandwiched between Fred and George.
The two little guys explained to him "how to use a piece of soap to create a perfect corridor landslide accident".
Old Prewett listened with great interest, and occasionally interrupted to ask questions. This old man living alone had obviously not experienced such a lively family atmosphere for a long time.
"Kids, I'm leaving."
Lin Ze clapped his hands and attracted the attention of several little guys.
"So fast?" Fred's face immediately fell.
"There is still work in the ministry." Lin Ze squatted down and looked at the children at eye level.
"Mr. Lin, why don't you stay and have lunch before leaving?" Bill said politely.
"Haha, thank you for the invitation, but I still hurry back. After all, you know... Ministry of Magic's Auror is very busy now, hahaha."
Percy on the side looked at Lin Ze with envy as he stood up and straightened his robe.
"Okay, I'm leaving."
Molly delivers Lin Ze to the door.
"Mr. Lin." She called Lin Ze as he walked out of the room.
"Huh?"
"Thank you for telling me this. If you are free in the future, you can come and sit here often... in the name of... a friend." Molly had a sincere invitation in his eyes.
Lin Ze glanced at her and then smiled.
"Definitely."
Walking out of the fence gate of the Burrow, Lin Ze took a deep breath of fresh air smelling of chicken manure.
The fat, unconscious rat in his pocket weighed heavily on his coat.
After walking a few steps, there was suddenly a rush of footsteps behind me.
"Mr. Lin! Mr. Lin!"
Lin Ze turned around and saw Percy rushing out from the fence gate, his face red as he ran.
"What's wrong?"
Percy ran up to him, stopped panting, then took something out of his pocket and stuffed it into Lin Ze's hand.
It is a card, a card of Chocolate Frog, printed on it is Andros, the legendary wizard in history who can summon the huge Patronus.
"Given to you, thank you for letting Scabbers help Ministry of Magic solve the case."
Lin Ze looked down at the expectant Percy, then chuckled and put the card into his pocket.
"Thank you, I will treasure it well."
Percy nodded with a red face, turned around and ran back again.
Old Prewett did not come out with Lin Ze. Obviously he wanted to get closer to these boys. Of course, he might also want to have a meal here at noon.
Lin Ze shrugged, the goal has been achieved, and other things are not his thing to worry about.
With a soft "crack" sound, Lin Ze disappeared into the open space outside the Burrow.
