Goku had long been itching to try the Ultra Divine Water, which could make him stronger.
But Tien Shinhan had not been ready before, so he had planned to wait and take the challenge with him.
"Is the Ultra Divine Water that water you told me about yesterday at Kame House, the kind that can unlock your body's potential?"
Krillin's eyes lit up at this. Naturally, he could not pass up something that could make him stronger either.
He was already weaker than Tien Shinhan and Goku. If he did not challenge the Ultra Divine Water, the gap would only grow wider.
"Yeah, Tien Shinhan and I agreed we'd challenge the Ultra Divine Water when we came back this time."
Goku nodded, holding nothing back.
"Then I'd like to drink a little and try it too. It is a treasure that can make people stronger, after all."
Krillin spoke with a touch of envy.

Krillin froze at this. Goku had only told him that the Ultra Divine Water could unlock his body's potential, without mentioning that it was highly poisonous.
"Really? If it's highly poisonous, then I really would need to be stronger to resist it.
You spent three whole months preparing to drink the Ultra Divine Water, Tien Shinhan. I think I'll prepare thoroughly first too."
Krillin was not so stubborn that he would recklessly charge ahead despite knowing the risks.
Besides, with Tien Shinhan and Goku as examples, there was no need for him to challenge the Ultra Divine Water as soon as he arrived.
Giving himself more time to prepare properly before taking the challenge would also keep him from wasting such a rare treasure.

But once he thought of its effects, he put that little difficulty out of his mind.

Without much hesitation, Tien Shinhan, Chiaotzu, Goku, and Krillin decided to set out as a team of four.
Seeing this, Master Korin pointed to a jar in a corner of the hall.
There was nothing stored inside the jar. Instead, it connected directly to the entrance of the Glacier Labyrinth.
The four passed through the jar's connection and arrived at the Glacier Labyrinth moments later.
Everywhere they looked was a world of ice and snow. A bone-piercing wind swept over them, cold enough that an ordinary person might have suffered frostbite on the spot.
But for Tien Shinhan and his three companions, whose power levels all exceeded 100, a little cold within Earth's normal environmental conditions had hardly any effect.
The four did not linger. Following Master Korin's instructions from before their departure, they headed straight into the depths of the Glacier Labyrinth.
Along the way, snow monsters formed from ice and snow bared their fangs and brandished their claws, trying to attack them.
But with two fighters as powerful as Tien Shinhan and Goku present, mere snow monsters posed no threat whatsoever.
Bam!
Tien Shinhan threw just one punch, and his overwhelmingly superior power blasted the enormous snow monster apart.
Snow monsters appeared again and again along the way, growing larger each time, but not a single one could withstand one punch from Tien Shinhan.
With the interference from these monsters brushed aside, exploring the Glacier Labyrinth went much more smoothly.
The routes inside the labyrinth were not particularly complicated. The only reason it seemed so difficult to others was that they also had to deal with the snow monsters' interference while exploring.
For Tien Shinhan and the others, that cut away more than half the difficulty.
And so, after only about half a day, Tien Shinhan and the others had already explored the Glacier Labyrinth and made their way back.
The four retraced their steps and emerged through the jar's passage into the hall of Korin Tower.
"Huh? That fast?"
Master Korin had only just found time to eat a piece of dried fish and savor the memories of when he had still been an ordinary cat.
Before he even had a chance to thank Launch again for the dried fish, everyone had returned.
"Yeah, the Glacier Labyrinth wasn't nearly as complicated or dangerous as you said, Master Korin.
Those snow monsters were too weak. Tien Shinhan handled them at first, then I took over, and by the end, we could leave every one of them to Chiaotzu and Krillin."
Goku recounted their exploration exactly as it had happened, sounding slightly resentful of Master Korin's earlier exaggerations about the Glacier Labyrinth.
Master Korin had described the labyrinth as so terrifying, yet once the four of them went there, Goku found that it posed no great danger to them at all.
"Ah, I forgot that your strength is already far beyond that of any martial artists I've seen before.
But regardless, you brought the Ultra Divine Water back safely, didn't you?"
Master Korin looked at the earthenware jar sitting in their midst. Inside was the Ultra Divine Water that Tien Shinhan and Goku had awaited for so long.
"Yes. Let's leave everything else aside and start the challenge."
Tien Shinhan nodded at that. Ignoring the argument between Master Korin and Kid Goku, he simply scooped a full cup of Ultra Divine Water from the jar.
Even Kid Goku could drink a whole cup when his power level was below 300. With my current strength, drinking a full cup of Ultra Divine Water without trouble shouldn't be strange, right?
