Mayday almost jumped up with excitement. "Look! Making a wish really works!"
Peter frowned slightly and asked, "What is the content of the request for help?"
"The signal was very brief, requesting assistance from any superheroes that could be received, and mentioned an extradimensional threat."
Peter looked at Old Peter thoughtfully. "177A Bleecker Street... sounds a bit familiar."
Old Peter's expression instantly became solemn. "That is the residence of Stephen·Doctor Strange. He used to be Sorcerer Supreme here."
Peter reacted suddenly and slapped his thigh. "I'll go, I didn't think of it just now!"
Old Peter reminds again. "Pay attention to your wording."
"Okay, okay..."
Half an hour later, it was over Manhattan.
Two Silk crossed between the buildings, and Peter and Mayday landed on the roof of the strange-looking ancient house one after another.
Peter squatted down and looked at the skylight, and asked casually, "By the way, how much do you know about this Doctor Strange?"
Mayday landed next to him and patted the dust on his hands. "It's not much. I only know that he has been with Defenders before, he is a Magic master, and he seems to have joined Avengers. No wonder he can use the emergency channel of Avengers."
Peter nodded, his eyes falling on the iron lock of the skylight. His mind moved slightly, and the metal spikes on the back of his hand popped out instantly, making a slight sound of the blade being unsheathed. The slight sting caused by the metal coating made him grin subconsciously.
"I hate this trick sometimes." Peter sighed.
Mayday came over curiously. "I've wanted to ask for a long time, how did you grow these claws? Can my dad do it too? Will I grow them in the future?"
"No, this is my unique ability." Peter explained while waving his hand to cut off the iron lock.
The two opened the skylight and slid into the house quietly.
The room was pitch dark, without even the slightest bit of light.
"It's as dark as ink, I can't see anything." Mayday complained in a low voice.
"It just so happens that I have night vision function." Peter lightly touched the edge of the helmet, and the night vision mode of the suit was instantly turned on.
In the green vision, a pair of blood-red eyes suddenly lit up in the shadows ahead.
Before Peter could react, a piercing scream tore through the silence!
The surrounding shadows seemed to come alive, and instantly condensed into a huge monster head with a bloody mouth, and rushed towards the two of them!
Peter reacted extremely quickly and turned back to avoid the attack. Mayday even jumped directly onto the wall and used the force to bounce to the ceiling.
"What the hell is this?!" Mayday exclaimed.
"How rude!"
Peter was in mid-air, and when he raised his hand, a blue biological electricity blasted past him!
The electric light accurately hit the giant's forehead, and with a painful cry, half of the monster's shadowed skull was instantly blown away! It let out a shrill scream, turned into billowing black smoke and seeped into the wall. The sunlight filtering through the skylight illuminated the room again.
Peter looked at his palm after landing. "It's strange, this blow is not so powerful."
Mayday fell next to him. "What did you use just now?"
"It's just an ordinary bioelectric shock. Logically speaking, it can make people numb for a while at most..." Peter shook his head.
"You two! Stop studying now! Come and help me, this old bone!"
An old and anxious voice came from the depths of the shadows.
The two of them looked around and saw an old man tied to a wooden chair in the corner of the room. He had shawl hair and a long beard. The old man wore a black robe, with a strange-looking pendant hanging on his chest, and a pair of orange gloves on his hands.
Peter blinked. "Excuse me... are you Stephen·Doctor Strange?"
The old man yelled angrily, "Nonsense! Who else can it be besides me?! Come here and untie the rope!"
Mayday hurriedly ran over to help him untie him. "Old sir, what on earth was that shadow monster just now?"
Strange rubbed his wrist and said angrily, "That is the great existence from Shadow Dimension, Great Karrlokos! Little girl, you'd better keep a little respect for it!"
Mayday shrank his neck in embarrassment. "Okay... things in the Magic world are indeed a bit beyond imagination."
"Don't stand there in a daze!" Strange pushed open the door, and the black fog in the corridor had dissipated, "We must not let that monster get the things! Follow me, we must get to the treasure house as soon as possible!"
Seeing the old man running towards the stairs in a hurry, Peter frowned slightly.
Something is wrong.
In his impression, no matter which universe Stephen·Strange is, it is impossible for him to act so crazy and rude. However, this doubt was quickly interrupted by an unexpected situation, and the two of them could only follow quickly.
When we reached the middle of the stairs, the shadow monster once again stretched out its tentacles from the wall and swept towards Mayday!
"The boy wearing the Spider suit! Use your ability to blast it!" Strange shouted from the front.
Peter suppressed the doubts in his heart and threw out a beam of bioelectricity again. The monster seemed to be extremely afraid of this energy, and immediately retracted its tentacles and fled into the shadows.
Strange led them to a heavy iron door and pulled the door handle. "Damn it, it's locked!"
He began to recite an obscure ancient spell, and a black magic circle rotated at the keyhole. With a click, the door suddenly opened.
Behind the door is a bottomless and gloomy corridor.
Mayday swallowed. "I have a bad feeling."
Peter didn't speak, but walked silently behind Strange. Looking at the strange curve of the old man's mouth, Peter suddenly asked, "Strange, do you still remember me?"
The old man scolded without looking back, "Who are you? Why should I remember you?"
Peter's heart completely sank.
The future Old Peter clearly knows Strange, how is it possible that Spider-Man and Doctor Strange have nothing in common? There is definitely something wrong with this old man!
At this moment, the shadow behind him suddenly erupted!
"Get out of here!"
The monster roared like thunder, passed Peter and Mayday, and headed straight for Strange in front!
