run.

When Strange finally released him from the Magic space that was as distorted and chaotic as a kaleidoscope, Peter didn't even stay for a second. He rushed out of Sanctum Sanctorum's door like crazy, threw Silk out and jumped into the night sky, swinging desperately into the distance like a frightened bat.

The strange thing is that Strange didn't stop him.

Peter shuttled frantically among the high-rise buildings in the city, urgently needing a space where he could breathe. Queens was too far, but Baxter Building was just two blocks away.

He swung to the top of the building and sat on the edge of the building. After taking off his helmet, he gasped for air, trying to calm down his heart that was almost beating out of his chest.

The words he just heard were still swirling in his mind.

Strange Why should we train him?

Why is it that only he can touch Magic, which is powerful enough to bind the entire multiverse?

And what made him feel the chills on his spine the most was... Strange knew his secret. He knew that he was not the original Peter·Parker at all, but a soul from another world.

This thought made him breathless. He was sitting on the top floor of a familiar building, his mind was as chaotic as a pot of porridge, and he couldn't figure out any clear idea at all.

"Spider-Man?"

A childish voice suddenly broke the silence. Peter raised his head and looked at the little boy floating in front of him in surprise.

He was stunned and blinked. "Franklin? You're still not asleep at this late hour?"

"It's six o'clock in the morning." Franklin raised his eyebrows.

Peter was shocked. Looking over Franklin's shoulder, he saw the golden morning light rising slowly from the horizon.

He actually sat here all night.

Peter smiled bitterly and rubbed his eyes tiredly, "Sorry... I'm just a little confused. Too many things have happened recently, and I need to find a familiar place to relax."

"I understand." Franklin showed a gentle smile and slowly came down to sit next to him, "Want to chat?"

"No, I--" Peter was about to refuse, but when he looked at the boy in front of him, the shadow of Susan appeared in front of his eyes. The golden hair and the clear eyes were exactly the same as Susan.

He let out a long sigh, "Well... maybe we should talk about it. I just learned that I am burdened with the destiny of saving the world, and now I am panicking to death. I don't know what to do at all, I am completely confused."

Franklin chuckled softly, "So, are you experiencing an identity crisis?"

Peter snorted self-deprecatingly, "That's right."

"Then what are you afraid of?" Franklin looked at him and asked.

"I... I'm afraid of failure." Peter recalled Strange's words - if he died in the hands of Thanos, this world and even more worlds would be destroyed. "I'm afraid that when that moment comes, I won't be strong enough at all."

Franklin nodded in understanding. "So that's it... but why isn't it strong enough?"

Peter turned his head and looked at him. "What do you mean?"

"Don't your blood have the magical power to copy and absorb other people's abilities?" Franklin gestured towards him, "Can't you just borrow abilities from those who are willing to help you? This way you can become stronger quickly."

"Franklin, things are not that simple." Peter shook his head, "I know very well what will happen to people who are blinded by power. The last time I got Cosmic Control Rod... you must not have forgotten it, right?"

Franklin stopped smiling and sighed, "Well... I remember."

Peter closed his eyes and whispered, "I don't want to become that kind of monster anymore, Franklin... a monster who only has power in his eyes but leaves the people who love him behind. That's too scary..."

"I understand." Franklin raised his hand and touched the golden ring on his head, "This thing can help me control the power in my body. I can't control them at all, and maybe I won't be able to do it in my life. But I still choose to use this power to help others, and I am getting stronger little by little. I know how dangerous I am... Because of this, this power is the safest in my hands. Apart from me... well, probably the only one who can make people feel at ease is to put it here with you."

Peter was stunned. "What are you talking about?"

"Spider-Man, you are different from other superheroes." Franklin looked at him seriously, "My mother often mentioned you to me, saying how amazing, selfless, and brave you are. If there is anyone in this world who deserves great power, that person will definitely be you."

"Franklin, I am different from the Spider-Man you know. I am not the Peter·Parker of your world." Peter retorted.

But Franklin laughed, "From what I have seen so far... you are simply lying. You are exactly the same as the Spider-Man I know... so, wait for me."

Before he finished speaking, Franklin suddenly took off into the air and flew back into the building.

Peter waited there with some curiosity. Within three minutes, Franklin flew back, holding a small glass bottle in his hand, which contained some kind of almost black liquid.

Franklin grinned and threw the bottle to Peter: "Don't worry, hold it tight. This bottle was specially made by my dad and it will never break."

Peter took the vial. Under the sunlight, the almost pure black liquid reflected a deep red luster. "What is this?... blood?"

Franklin nodded. "Yes, my blood."

Peter's eyes widened instantly. "Franklin! Are you crazy?!"

"Because... you are my hero." Franklin smiled brightly, "If my blood can help you save the world and yourself, then feel free to use it."

"Franklin! You are the strongest Mutants recorded in human history, even surpassing Omega-level! I have no idea what the consequences will be if you inject this thing into your body!"

Franklin shrugged. "It's really unknown... but maybe it can help you save everyone." He saluted Peter in a decent manner, "I wish you good luck, Spider-Man!"

After saying that, the little boy turned around and flew back into the building without waiting for Peter to respond.

Peter was sitting on the roof, completely stunned. Did all this just... really happen?

He looked down at the small glass bottle in his palm. What it contained might be the peerless power that would allow him to surpass Omega-level Mutant.

His hands trembled slightly.
