Strange looked at Peter and sighed deeply, "Let me guess, you wanted to copy the storage bag I gave you again, but you forgot the law of conservation of mass and tried to force-fill the container directly with Magic, right?"
Peter blinked and exhaled a puff of black smoke with some embarrassment. "... Yes."
Strange shook his head helplessly. "Peter, I told you, understanding the principle does not mean that you can copy it perfectly."
As he spoke, he lightly hit the Snap. A dazzling golden light instantly enveloped the entire room. The charred traces quickly faded away, and the broken masonry returned to its place. In the blink of an eye, the room returned to the neatness it had before the explosion.
Peter felt that his body was pulled out of the wall by an invisible force and fell steadily back onto the chair in front of the desk. On the desk, the backpack that had been reduced to ashes was also placed there intact.
Strange walked behind Peter, picked up the backpack, and carefully looked inside the stitching. "Come on, let's see where you made a mistake." He lowered his head and looked at it for a while, and his eyes fell on the runes drawn on the inside, "Ah, I found it."
"What's wrong?" Peter leaned over and asked.
"Kuru Rune, your drawing is too long." Strange took out a white quill specially used to draw runes, lightly sketched a few strokes on the inside of the backpack, and corrected the error. After finishing, he put the bag back on the table, "Okay, now try again."
Peter took a deep breath, closed his eyes, and concentrated on slowly injecting the extradimensional energy, which Strange called Magic, into the bag. A dazzling red light suddenly lit up on the surface of the backpack, and Peter felt nervous, fearing that it would explode again. Fortunately, this time, Magic stabilized.
A faint golden light glowed at the opening of the backpack, and Peter could clearly feel that the space inside the backpack had been expanded to an almost infinite level.
Strange showed an approving smile on his face, "I have to say, you really impressed me. In just one month of practical training, you can make enchanted props with your own hands."
Peter smiled sheepishly, "To be honest, I think it took me so long to succeed, which is really a bit embarrassing."
"It took me several years to master this, Peter."
"That's what I say, but pursuing excellence is never a bad thing, right?" Peter raised his eyebrows.
Strange smiled noncommittally, "That's true. Since you didn't stay in the training room, but hid in the room to do this, then I think you should have completed the homework I assigned you before?"
Peter smiled confidently, stood up and distanced himself. He drew a circle clockwise with his hands in front of him, and then pushed forward suddenly. Along with a burst of magic power, a huge Magic ring composed of red energy bloomed in front of him in an instant, blocking his body tightly behind him.
Strange looked at this scene with approval. "Shield of the Seraphim, it's beautifully done, Peter. However, we still have to see how its defense is in actual combat."
Before he finished speaking, Strange's fingertips came together to condense a ball of dazzling plasma light.
"Wait, what are you going to do--"
Dang!
The plasma bombs hit the red shield heavily. Peter was shaken back a few steps by the huge impact, but he still gritted his teeth and steadied his body. The shield was intact. However, before he could relax, he saw more plasma bombs whizzing towards him.
Peter immediately lowered his center of gravity and used all his strength to maintain the shield.
Dang! Dang! Dang!
The continuous banging sound finally stopped. Peter put down his shield and shouted with some complaint, "Can you say hello first before you attack next time!"
Strange smiled slightly, "On a real battlefield, the enemy will not give you time to prepare. Be careful, behind."
In fact, there was no need for Strange to remind him, Peter and Spider-Sense were already buzzing crazily in his mind. He suddenly lowered his body, and a plasma bomb flew over his head, hitting the wall behind him heavily, shattering a corner of the stone bricks.
"Your Spider-Sense is indeed amazing, Peter." Strange hit the Snap again to restore the damaged wall, "Speaking of which, have you taken the time to study it recently?"
Peter shrugged and put away the shield in his hand. "No, this thing is not Magic. What's there to study?"
"I have said before that Magic is just another explanation of science. I suspect that your Spider-Sense may contain some... prophetic power. This is worth exploring in depth." Strange said seriously.
"That makes sense. It sounds amazing. So what should we learn next?"
"Next? I'm going to teach you something special." Strange smiled mysteriously.
"Teleportation?!" Peter's eyes lit up.
"No, it's Astral Projection."
Peter suddenly fell down and sighed sadly, "I don't want to be a ghost, I want to learn teleportation!"
"As long as you want to learn, you can master both in the future. But now, let's start with Astral Projection. Come with me, Parker apprentice, we still have a lot of work to do."
Although Peter complained, he still followed Strange into the meditation room and sat down skillfully on his own pile of soft cushions. Strange sat opposite him, lit the incense in the room, and took a deep breath.
"Close your eyes and concentrate. Imagine the world as two overlapping dimensions in your mind. The mantra to enter this dimension is 'Baqin'. Recite it silently in your heart, and you will feel the vibration of your soul, and then break away from the shackles of the body."
Peter nodded. "I understand."
He closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and silently recited in his mind. "Baqin."
In an instant, the magic power in his body began to respond. The feeling was like slowly tearing off a bandage on his hand, but there was no pain at all. Peter knew that this was not enough, he had to enter a deeper level of meditation.
As his consciousness continued to sink, Peter felt as if he was melting deep into his heart. Controlling magic power had now become his instinct. He could clearly feel that a clear boundary was being cut between his soul and body, and his soul was being pushed out bit by bit.
Immediately afterwards, an unprecedented sense of freedom emerged.
Peter opened his eyes and was surprised to find that he was floating in mid-air, and his body was sitting below with his head lowered. He tried to move and found that the surrounding space was not like air, but more like a gentle liquid, which could bring a slight touch to the soul.
"This is your spiritual body, my apprentice."
Hearing the sound, Peter turned around in the air and saw Strange's soul floating on the opposite side, showing a translucent form.
"This is really... amazing!" Peter looked at his almost transparent hands and grinned excitedly.
"Indeed. Then, let's--"
"Strange! Save me!"
