"Stark, did you see it?" Captain America asked.
"I saw it, but I still can't believe my eyes." Tony replied, "Where is Banner? Are you here?"
"Banner?" Captain America was stunned.
"As soon as Banner appears, tell me immediately." Tony hurriedly cut off the communication.
"They're Carnage civilians!" Peter pointed at the buildings.
"Go! Save people!" Captain America shouted, "Leave it to us!"
Peter nodded, jumped to the nearest building, followed the densest screams, quickly climbed to the corresponding floor, and climbed in through the broken window.
Bodies lay scattered in the corridor, with blackened wounds still smoking.
Peter felt like his chest was hit hard by something, and anger instantly surged throughout his body.
At this moment, he didn't want to hold back anymore.
Hiss--
Four huge mechanical Spider arms popped out from behind, their blade edges shining coldly in the firelight.
"Ahhh!" Peter roared and rushed into the corridor. Several Chitauri were pressing civilians to the ground. As soon as they turned around, it was already too late. Three mechanical Spider arms instantly pierced three heads, and Repulsor Cannon blew the rest away and smashed into the security door.
The survivors stared at him blankly.
"Go downstairs, don't go to the street. Hide if someone comes. Do you understand?"
They nodded repeatedly and rushed to the escape stairs. Peter turned around and ran again - there were screams from more buildings, and more people were waiting for him to save.
He jumped out of the window, swung across the road, and crashed into the building opposite, clearing the Chitauri inside cleanly. When he rushed out again, a group of Chitauri airships were pressing down on the street. Peter shot out two thickened Silk, which were tightly stretched between the buildings on both sides.
Chitauri airships passed by, and two were overturned by the "clothesline" and smashed to the ground. The other airships hurriedly turned around.
Peter jumped up and landed firmly on the first airship. As soon as the two Chitauri raised their spears, his palm cannon lit up, sending them flying out.
The airship behind immediately turned its gun. Peter stepped on the boat and somersaulted into the air. The four mechanical Spider arms bounced off at the same time, and one of them suddenly penetrated the pilot's chest.
Blue energy beams intersected in the air, and several airships hit each other one after another in pursuit of him. Peter kept moving between the airships, and the arms of the red mechanical Spider were quickly covered with dark body fluids. It was not until the last airship crashed to the ground that he turned over and landed on the roof of the building.
Chitauri was climbing up the wall with his sharp claws. Peter was running rampant along the outer wall, punching down one after another. There was a small team at the corner of the building aiming their guns, and he threw Silk upwards. As he swung down, he fired a volley of repulsive force, causing the entire row of enemies to fall to the ground.
Below, Natasha and Clint were being submerged by a tidal wave of enemy troops. Peter swung down from a high altitude and stepped heavily on the back of a Chitauri.
He used the momentum to roll forward, grabbed the opponent's body and threw it towards the telephone pole, then added a ball of Silk and stuck it to the top.
Several more people rushed towards him. He jumped up and kicked twice, and the sound of his skull cracking was clearly audible. He punched into his lower abdomen and grabbed the body as a shield.
The blue beam penetrated the human shield, and Peter threw the body away. The cluster cannon on his chest suddenly lit up, and the strong energy torrent instantly swallowed up the five Chitauri soldiers.
Spider-Sense suddenly sounded. He stood up from the ground, narrowly avoiding a shot in the back of his head. When he landed, he was about to fight back, but an arrow had already been nailed into the skull of the Chitauri.
Clint nodded to Peter.
"I can handle it myself." Peter said.
"Thank you is a very nice word. Why don't you like to say it?" Clint smiled. Suddenly another Chitauri fell behind him. Peter raised his hand and shot the person away. Clint turned around and stared with wide eyes.
"Thank you." Peter replied.
A new wave of enemy troops came. Natasha used the captured weapons to spit out blue energy, Clint fired arrows in succession, and Peter fired at them one by one. He was close. He broke off one of his arms and placed his palm against his head. Bioelectric current was poured into his body, instantly turning him into charcoal from the inside out. Peter took a breath. This move consumes too much strength, so he should use it sparingly in the future.
Captain America entered the battlefield, smashing several heads with its shield, and at the last moment blocked the plasma beam directed at Peter. The remaining Chitauri soldiers on the ground were surrounding them from all directions.
The next second, dazzling lightning fell from the sky and exploded in the center of the enemy group. Chitauri, who was rushing at the front, didn't even have time to scream, before he was swallowed up by the thunder.
Thor followed the lightning and landed on the ground, covering his injured flank with one hand, blood oozing out from between his fingers.
"What's going on above?" Captain America asked.
"Tesseract can't break through the peripheral energy." Thor said, his eyes fell on Peter, his expression stagnant, "I'm sorry, Spider-Man. I was too harsh earlier."
Peter shrugged. "We don't have time to worry about this, Golden Retriever. We'll talk about it later."
"What's the next step?" Natasha asked.
Steve glanced at everyone. "From now on, everyone will listen to my command. Come together."
"Loki and I still have outstanding debts." Thor said in a low voice.
"Line up." Clint glared at him and packed his quiver.
"Save it. Loki will draw the enemy's attention to us, which is exactly what we need. Without his pressure, these monsters will just run around in the city. Stark is up there--"
The roar of a motorcycle suddenly came, interrupting Captain America's words. Bruce, wearing loose clothes and pants, came slowly on an old scooter, stopped and walked over.
"So... it looks pretty bad." He smiled.
"I've seen worse." Natasha said.
Bruce looked dim. "I'm sorry."
"No." She smiled instead, "Now we need you to come out and make the enemy's situation worse."
"Stark, Banner are here, just as you said." Captain America pressed the communicator.
"Banner is here? Just in time, let him prepare to transform. I will lead that big guy over to you."
As soon as Tony finished speaking, he turned sharply from the end of the street. Leviathan was chasing after him.
Natasha raised his head and glanced. "You call this delivered?"
Peter smiled and said, "To us, he is a monster, but to Hulk, he is just a sandbag delivered to his door."
"Dr. Banner, now might be a good time to get angry." Steve said.
"This is my secret, Captain." Bruce walked towards the giant beast, and Tony passed over their heads. Leviathan opened its huge mouth and slid along the road to pounce. "I have always been angry." He turned around, his body surged, and he punched it.
Hulk's fist slammed the giant beast to a stop, and its entire body flew into the sky, and the armor of its forelimbs shattered.
"Get down!" Tony roared, and the missile shot into the exposed flesh. The behemoth exploded into pieces, and the wreckage smashed into the street corner.
Everyone stood back to back in a circle in the center of the ruins.
Captain America raised the shield, Thor held on to Mjolnir, Tony fell on the other side, and Hulk roared at the surrounding enemies.
Peter looked around and suddenly smiled.
It wasn't until this moment that this group of weirdos fighting on their own truly looked like a team.
