After warning Miley about the coming war, Witt left to guide the wounded toward Dol Blathanna, but the villagers turned against him over Lowell’s poisoned medicine.

• Witt completed the drowner contract with Geralt, then returned to Kaer Morhen, where Vesemir revealed that a dryad from Brokilon had brought him there as a child of destiny.
• Witt passed the Trial of the Mountains, drew power from a Place of Power, and charged his Wolf medallion before leaving with Geralt to hunt Old Graz’s griffin.
• Witt and Geralt discovered that the griffin attacks were tied to its eggs and confronted Lowell, who fled after Witt uncovered his dangerous dealings with elves.

After discovering a Place of Power and shutting down an elven portal, they were attacked by city guards and Frank’s bomb throwers, leaving Witt unconscious as Geralt carried him toward the ruins.

• Witt and Geralt investigated the missing apprentices and discovered that Hector had killed Filarey and the others, then framed Old Graz before escaping through a portal.
• Old Graz revealed that Witt’s stolen blood sample might indicate Elder Blood, and Witt resolved to grow stronger without telling Geralt about Vilgefortz.
• Witt and Geralt traveled to Ard Carraigh, where Laud Böll helped them enter the city and Brody hired them to kill the Idr Giant Centipede in exchange for Laud’s bruxa tongue.
• Witt overcharged a fire crystal and destroyed a drowner nest, while the blast alarmed the inner city and prompted Henselt’s guards to hunt for its source.
• Witt and Geralt killed the Idr Giant Centipede in the elven ruins, then discovered an air-element Place of Power and absorbed its magic.
