Just as Su Cimu was wondering where to spend the afternoon, Shen Yannian called.
Su Cimu hung up immediately, switched off his phone, and wandered aimlessly down the street.
Meanwhile, when Shen Yannian discovered that his call had been rejected and he could no longer reach Su Cimu at all, he frowned.
Wan Ke happened to come into the office with documents for him to sign. Seeing his expression, he couldn't help asking:
"Chairman Shen, are you worried about tomorrow's board meeting?"
Shen Yannian looked at Wan Ke, feeling that the very premise of that question was flawed.
"A mere board meeting could trouble me?"
Seeing the mockery and disdain in Shen Yannian's eyes, Wan Ke gave an awkward chuckle.
"I saw you frowning, Chairman Shen, and thought you'd run into some difficulty. After thinking it over, the only important event coming up was the board meeting."
"Tell me, if someone hangs up on you and then switches off their phone, what does that mean?" Shen Yannian suddenly asked, staring straight at Wan Ke.
Wan Ke jolted. Chairman Shen certainly wouldn't ask a question like that out of nowhere!
Chairman Shen must have called Young Master Su, only to have his call rejected, and Young Master Su had even switched off his phone!
"Well, Chairman Shen, perhaps Young Master Su's phone just ran out of battery. He might not have deliberately ignored your call. If you're worried, why not call his family and ask?"
"Did I say it was my sweetheart who hung up on me?" Shen Yannian asked in return, his face stern and utterly serious.
"Ahem, I spoke out of turn. Chairman Shen, if there's nothing else, I'll leave you to it."
With that, Wan Ke quickly left the office.
Tsk, Chairman Shen got shut out by Young Master Su, and now he's taking it out on everyone else!
Although Shen Yannian was displeased by what Wan Ke had said, he still called his elder brother-in-law.
"Huh? You mean Xiao Ci? He left after eating with us. He said he wanted to walk around on his own. Maybe he went shopping."

The speaker was Xu Ke, the Xu family's eldest young master. Seeing Su Cimu strolling around alone, he came over to greet him.
Su Cimu unobtrusively pushed Xu Ke's wandering hand away, signaling for him to keep his distance.

If whatever they suggested interested him, he could join them.

"Karaoke? They have male models?"
"Yep, every type you could want!"
"All right, then. Let's go have some fun."
With that, Su Cimu went with the group of young masters to a private room at the karaoke club.
The room alone was ninety square meters, very spacious, and the screen was huge too. It was even more striking when a row of handsome men and beautiful women stood before them.
