Ji Wuchang reunited with Ji Yaoyao and learned how Ji Yourong and Zhan Wuyuan had conspired against her and weakened the Ji Clan. He agreed to carry out Ji Yaoyao’s plan to kill Ji Yourong and purge the clan’s collaborators, then arrived with her above the Ji Clan in Great Yan City, where his forces’ appearance threw the clan into panic.
