The Head Girl, accompanied by a seventh-year male Prefect, walked straight over to Sean. She gestured for the Fifth Year and sixth-year Prefects to lead the Slytherin students back to the Slytherin Common Room, then turned to Sean.

"On the very first day of term, one hundred and ten points were deducted. Slytherin has never faced a situation like this before, and a large part of the responsibility lies with you. Therefore, you need to bear that responsibility.

"Slytherin has won the House Cup six years in a row, corresponding exactly to our first six years of seventh year. So, both publicly and personally, I want Slytherin to win the House Cup for a seventh time and achieve Seven Consecutive Championships. You must take responsibility for the losses you caused and make up the lost points!"

Sean looked at her and gave a slight nod. "My responsibility is naturally mine to bear. But I will only bear the responsibility that is mine. Of those one hundred and ten points, fifty were mine. Though those fifty should originally have been twenty, since our Head of House said it, I'll take responsibility for all fifty. Before the end of this term, I'll make those fifty points back."

The Head Girl looked at Sean, making sure he was not merely talking big, before nodding slightly. "I hope you will keep your word. For the sake of those fifty points, I will restrain the older students from causing you trouble. But if you fail to do so by the end of the term, then even if I have graduated by then, believe me—I will still have the means to make your second year, third year, and every year after that very difficult."

"Don't threaten me." Sean smiled. "The moment the points were deducted, I had already made up my mind. No matter which House I entered, I would earn those points back. Joining Slytherin may have been unexpected, but since I'm in Slytherin, I'll make up those fifty points—even if they were deducted by our own Head of House."

The Head Girl's mouth twitched slightly. This was the second time Sean had badmouthed their own Head of House behind his back. The Slytherin Snake King was someone who could single-handedly suppress every pure-blood descendant. Slytherins dared to oppose professors they disliked, and they dared to gossip about Dumbledore behind his back, but absolutely no one dared to speak ill of their own Snake King in private. Sean had done it twice in a row, and the Head Girl herself felt a little uneasy. She merely said that she looked forward to him earning the points back, then turned and returned to the front of the Slytherin group.

The Hogwarts dungeons were located on the first underground level of Hogwarts.

The Slytherin Common Room was situated there.

Sean and Blaise stood at the very back of the group, looking at the damp, empty wall ahead of them. They knew that this was the entrance to the Slytherin Common Room.

"Remember, everyone, this is the entrance to our Slytherin Common Room. The password changes once every two weeks, so please pay attention to the notice board in the common room. It will display the new password after each change. The current password for entering the Slytherin Common Room is Snake Fangs!"

As soon as the seventh-year male Prefect finished speaking, an arched stone door appeared in the slick-looking stone wall and opened automatically. The Prefects led the new students through it, revealing a somewhat narrow, low-ceilinged common room built from huge rough stone blocks. It had an overall Gothic style, with numerous strange statues lining the walls.

The common room had four tall, enormous windows. Lake-green light streamed through them, and through the windows, one could even see the creatures living at the bottom of the lake.

When Sean entered the common room, he was surprised to find that it did not feel particularly damp. On the contrary, it was quite dry. Magic was evidently highly effective at removing moisture. Though there was certainly no sunlight to be found here, the environment was dry and the style was not bad either. Sean felt that he could accept it.

The Slytherin Common Room was very large. Moreover, many of the students here came from pure-blood families, so from the very beginning of its design and construction, everyone had been given an individual room. They were somewhat smaller than the large two- or three-person rooms found in places like Gryffindor, but having a room to oneself also meant privacy. The Slytherin students, including Sean himself, were all very satisfied with this arrangement.

"Blaise, where's your room?" Sean asked, standing at the door to his own room.

Blaise looked around, found his room, and replied, "Mine isn't far from yours. It's the second room to your left. You can come find me anytime."

"You too. If my door is open, just come in. I'm going to sort out my room and get some rest first."

"Alright. Good night."

Sean had not brought too many things, but it was certainly not a small amount either. It took him quite a while to finish putting everything away. Then he sat at the desk by the window, watching aquatic creatures swim through the green lake water outside. He pulled Kulkan from his robes and set it on the desk, letting it familiarize itself with the place where it would live for the next seven years.

By the time Sean woke up, it was already the next morning. He had slept very well.

Taking the books he needed for the morning's classes, Sean found Blaise, and the two headed to the Great Hall together for breakfast.

By the time they reached the Great Hall, Malfoy and the others were already there. Ignoring Malfoy, who clearly seemed to think he was impressive again, Sean and Blaise ate a simple breakfast of milk, toast, bacon, and the like. Then, under the Prefects' guidance, they headed for the classroom of their first lesson.

Their first class was Transfiguration. Like the Great Hall, its classroom was on the first floor, so it was not difficult to find.

Sean and Blaise arrived at the classroom just in time. As they sat down, Harry and Ron finally arrived late. The two sat directly behind Sean, then immediately began asking questions.

"Sean, how was it yesterday? Nobody bullied you, right?"

Shaking his head, Sean thanked Harry and Ron for their concern. "Nobody bullied me. Don't worry. What about you two? How is Gryffindor?"

Upon hearing Sean's question, Harry and Ron immediately began chattering about all the good things about Gryffindor. At the same time, they regretted that Sean had not joined Gryffindor. They felt that Sean possessed the qualities needed to enter Gryffindor and should not have gone to Slytherin, where most of the students were Dark Wizards.

Perhaps Professor McGonagall disagreed with Harry and Ron's apparent desire to drag this walking minus fifty points into Gryffindor. Though she had originally intended to wait a while longer and observe the Young Wizards' qualities, she could not help but leap down from the podium early, transforming from a cat back into human form. She quickly came to Harry and Ron's side and lightly tapped their desk, bringing their endless chatter to a halt.
