Lar​ina Brock served as Hogwarts' Head Girl during Sean Bulstrode's first year. As the female representative of the student body, she was described as exceptionally outstanding and was one of the seventh-year Prefects who led students from the Great Hall after the Sorting Feast. 15

Following the first-day confrontation involving Sean and Draco Malfoy, Slytherin lost 110 House points. Larina held Sean accountable for the 50 points deducted from him, demanding that he restore them before the end of term so Slytherin could secure a seventh consecutive House Cup. In return, she promised to restrain upper-year Slytherins from troubling him. 16

Her protection did not eliminate all hostility toward Sean: Janson's later Pure-blood Duel challenge was enabled in part by older students' tacit approval, though Larina had prevented them from directly targeting Sean over the lost points. 24

Lar​ina was also a member of Snape's Potions Club. She was one of the club's senior members and was noted for limiting her activities outside it in order to prepare for her examinations. 28 Near the end of the school year, she brought Sean into Slytherin's internal lounge, explaining that it was reserved for Prefects and qualified members of the Slytherin Brotherhood or its reserve organization. 74

Personality

Lar​ina is duty-focused and demanding. She treated the House-point loss as a concrete obligation rather than a personal grievance, setting Sean a clear target and deadline. 16

She is also pragmatic and protective of Slytherin interests. Although she threatened consequences if Sean failed, she offered to keep older students from harassing him while he worked to repay the lost points. 16 24
