Kulkan destroyed Nagini and Voldemort’s final Horcrux as Sean’s Phoenix eliminated the giant snakes, leaving Voldemort weakened and cornered. Voldemort challenged Sean to a final duel, and their spells clashed as the forces surrounding Hogwarts contained the remaining Dark wizards.

  • Kulkan trapped Nagini with Fiendfyre, which consumed her and dispersed the Voldemort-shaped smoke, destroying his final Horcrux.

  • Snape sensed the Projection of the Magic Web and began taking the final step toward mastering his Annihilation Rule.
  • Sean and Voldemort exchanged powerful attacks, and Voldemort unleashed a Killing Curse against Sean’s Thunderbolt.
  • Slytherin appeared behind Voldemort and urged his descendant to surrender his body, but Voldemort broke free and rejected him.
  • Voldemort revealed that Bellatrix carried his Blood Descendant and that he had used their bloodline to interfere with her will.

Ch. 574Salazar Slytherin

After Voldemort fell, Dumbledore warned that a greater danger remained. Salazar Slytherin emerged from Voldemort’s remains, effortlessly deflected the crowd’s spells, and introduced himself to Sean.

  • Voldemort lay charred and motionless after Bellatrix and the unborn child were destroyed by the spells.
  • Dumbledore ordered the Hogwarts students to shelter and everyone else to prepare for danger.
  • Harry told Ron, Hermione, Neville, Luna, and the others that someone more dangerous than Voldemort was behind him.
  • A new man emerged from Voldemort’s remains, and the gathered wizards’ spells revolved around him without harming him.
  • The man named himself Salazar Slytherin, shaped the spells into a nine-headed serpent, and reforged Voldemort’s broken Wand.
  • Slytherin looked at Sean and greeted him as someone he had met before.

Ch. 575Make a Move

Sean and his allies confronted Slytherin after learning that Slytherin’s soul resided within Voldemort, and Sean’s newly acquired abilities strengthened him for the fight. The chapter ended with Sean, Dumbledore, Diana, and Snape attacking Slytherin with lethal spells.

  • Sean realized that Slytherin’s soul had been inside Voldemort and learned that Slytherin could create a Wand suited to himself using ancient Alchemy.
  • Dumbledore asked Slytherin to surrender, but Slytherin refused and unleashed overwhelming magical pressure alongside his Nine-Headed Giant Serpent.
  • Sean used his allies’ combined power to resist Slytherin while his final Magic Awakening adaptation continued and he gained Voldemort’s abilities.

Ch. 576Rule Battle

Sean and the others battled Slytherin, who used Time Magic and a Rule-infused Smoke Rope Curse to defend himself. Sean severed Slytherin’s control of absorbed flames and froze him inside an iceberg, leaving the fight’s outcome uncertain.

  • Slytherin countered the group’s spells with Plasma, Time Echo Projections, and magic that bent their trajectories.
  • Kronos suppressed Slytherin’s Time Magic with a Force Field, while Dumbledore deduced that Slytherin’s spatial distortion had limits.
  • Sean launched a Snowstorm at Slytherin, who used a Rule-enhanced Smoke Rope Curse to block it.

Slytherin regained the advantage by using Flesh and Blood Magic to cripple Kronos, then confronted Sean and the others. Sean used a Time-Turner and Kronos’s Time Anchor to break Slytherin’s Time Magic, allowing him to tear away half of Slytherin’s torso.

  • As the Nine-Headed Giant Serpent threatened the group, thirteen Death Eaters transformed into a Flesh and Bone Spear and stabbed Kronos from behind.
  • Slytherin emerged from the iceberg and explained that he had used his control over time to conceal the attack from Kronos’s foresight.
  • Dumbledore and Snape engaged Slytherin while Sean noticed a flaw in his Time Magic and charged at him.
  • Sean pierced Slytherin’s chest, then revealed a Time-Turner as Slytherin prepared to strike back.

Ch. 578Flesh and Blood Magic

Sean, Snape, Kulkan, and Fawkes gained the upper hand against Slytherin and his Nine-Headed Giant Serpent. Just as Sean moved to finish Slytherin, a massive snake head rescued most of his remains, while the Flesh and Blood Spider formed a body around what was left and helped him retreat underground.

  • Sean and Kronos used the Time Sand in the Time-Turner to lock down Slytherin's Time Magic, allowing Sean to tear away half his torso.
  • Slytherin used Flesh and Blood Magic to block Sean's Killing Curse and tried to escape toward the Nine-Headed Giant Serpent, but Kulkan intercepted the serpent.
  • Fawkes helped Kulkan fight the Nine-Headed Giant Serpent, and the two damaged several of its heads with claws, lightning, and dragonfire.
  • Snape and Sean attacked Slytherin together; Thorn Vines restrained him, and Snape's Sectumsempra and Annihilation Rule left his body shattered and unable to heal easily.
  • Kulkan and Fawkes defeated the Nine-Headed Giant Serpent, but a massive snake head burst from underground and swallowed most of Slytherin's remains.
  • The Flesh and Blood Spider enveloped Slytherin's remaining torso and right arm, formed a humanoid shape, and fired spells to cover the snake head as it retreated underground.

Ch. 579The War's Complete End

Sean and the wizards fought Slytherin after he transformed into a Nine-Headed Giant Serpent, and Sean awakened a new magical talent that let him defeat him with the Deathly Hallows. Slytherin accepted his death and told Sean about the hidden magical books and items in the Chamber of Secrets before fading away.

  • Slytherin transformed into a Nine-Headed Giant Serpent and absorbed the wizards' attacks, while Dumbledore destroyed one of its heads and Fawkes fell into a phoenix's egg.

Ch. 580The Finale

After Slytherin won the Hogwarts Cup Quidditch Tournament, Sean told Dumbledore he was leaving the wizarding world’s affairs in trusted hands and asked him to watch over Cesar when he came to Hogwarts. Sean departed for home, leaving Dumbledore, Snape, and their colleagues to carry on the work of reform.

  • Slytherin won the Hogwarts Cup, and Sean told Dumbledore he valued the other Houses beginning to cheer for Slytherin more than the victory itself.
  • Sean asked Dumbledore to guide Cesar at Hogwarts, explaining that his brother’s talent would attract ambitious people and tie his future to the changing relationship between wizards and ordinary people.

  • Sean arrived aboard the Dawn and discovered that the Magical World had integrated into human society, with Magic Soldiers fighting alongside technological forces.
