Lu Ling brought Asharuiya to the Twin Guardian Pavilion to purify and improve the formation beneath the East Guard Pavilion prison. After Lu Ling destroyed a newly formed Condensed Evil Bead, Asharuiya began planning a permanent purification system that would use Lu Ling’s power.

• Lu Ling explained that he had invited Asharuiya to optimize the prison’s soul-power formation and purify the accumulated evil thoughts.
• Mochizuki Chiharu told Lu Ling that Mochizuki Meiken had agreed to welcome him, and she introduced Mochizuki Yasaka when they met Meiken.

After learning that an Emperor was invading, Lu Ling returned to fight the Sea God Clan and helped defeat the Cold Moon Eye Demon God, rescue the Chongming Divine Bird, and recover the Divine Eyes. A month later, he kept Spirit City's influence in check and reunited with Ye Chang, who admitted she could no longer leave him.

• Lu Ling and Asharuiya modified the East Guard Pavilion's Soul-Devouring Formation so it no longer produced Red Demons or soul power beads.
• Lu Ling sensed an Emperor invading and sent Asharuiya and Mochizuki Chiharu into the Spirit Realm before heading back toward Magic City.

Lu Ling later replenished the vitality of the women around him, and the story ended with his large family still growing.
