Xu An: Huh? I just went up the mountain? I'm on Mount Yunkui with my senior sister. I'm planning to take her down the mountain for a look around. She can't stay up here all the time. It's too stifling!

Belle: O_o? I want to come too. If you don't bring me, I won't tell you.

Xu An: ...Why are you butting in?!

Belle: I don't care! I'm coming! If you won't let me, I'll tell Master! You lured our senior sister down the mountain!

Xu An: Don't! I'll message you later, okay...

When he finished, he discovered that Ye Shunguang had come up beside him at some point.

"What are you thinking about, junior brother?" Ye Shunguang asked.

"Huh? I was messaging a friend. Um, senior sister, what kind of place would you like to visit?" Xu An offered a casual explanation. He needed to figure out how to tell her that Belle wanted to come too.

"Do you know somewhere bustling, junior brother? Somewhere full of everyday life..." Ye Shunguang said after some thought.

"How about Lumina Square?" Xu An suggested after thinking it over.

"Lumina Square? Mm, that name sounds like it suits me. Let's go there! But I have something to take care of... Could you wait outside for me, junior brother? I'll be right out!"

"Okay! I'll wait for you, senior sister!" Xu An nodded, then sat on the steps to one side to wait. (≧∇≦)ﾉ

Before long, Ye Shunguang emerged from the house, having changed out of her temple attire.

The off-the-shoulder lace and lace-up cinched waist struck just the right balance between girlish charm and a touch of sexiness.

Red high heels paired with white stockings made her look innocent yet sexy.

Her little pink dress, paired with the bag at her waist, instantly gave her the air of a girl next door.

Seeing her junior brother freeze and stare at her, Ye Shunguang felt a little embarrassed. "J-junior brother, do I look nice?" Her voice held anticipation.

"So beautiful! Senior sister! You're just like the girl of my dreams. The moment you stepped outside, you walked straight into my heart. No, wait, you were already in my heart." The words Xu An blurted out were utterly sincere.

"Hehe (.-`ω´-), I was worried I might not look good wearing this for the first time, but seeing your reaction puts me at ease." Ye Shunguang smiled.

"Shall we go, then?" Xu An asked.

"Mm-hmm, let's go." Ye Shunguang started to head out as she spoke.

Xu An took Ye Shunguang's hand.

"Wh-what is it, junior brother?" Ye Shunguang was a little shy, but she did not pull away.

"Senior sister, I'll take you down the mountain. We're not taking the mountain path." As he spoke, Xu An summoned his flying sword.

After stepping onto it, he helped Ye Shunguang up by the hand.

"Senior sister! Just hold on to my waist in a moment," Xu An reminded her.

Standing on the flying sword, Ye Shunguang's eyes shone with excitement. Although she could fly on a sword too, she usually only did so while using the Qingming Sword. How could she use the Qingming Sword just to get around?

"Okay!" Ye Shunguang lightly pinched the hem of Xu An's clothes.

Xu An said nothing. He merely took off slowly, then... accelerated.

Ye Shunguang's heart jolted, and she immediately wrapped her arms around Xu An's waist, holding him tight.

Once she realized what had happened, Ye Shunguang could not help saying, "Oh, so that's how it is, junior brother! You dare play tricks on your senior sister?"

As she spoke, she quietly loosened one arm from around him and gently pinched Xu An's rather smug, smiling face.

"Hehe, senior sister, I'm just thinking of your safety. What if something happened while we were flying, and you weren't holding me properly like you are now, and accidentally..." Xu An wanted to continue, but the girl covered his mouth.

"Shh! Ptooey, ptooey, ptooey! Don't say anything unlucky. I'll hold on properly, so don't say any more, junior brother~" As she spoke, she returned the hand covering his mouth to his waist and gently held him.

Feeling the warmth against his back, he could not help letting his thoughts wander.

The two soon arrived at Lumina Square.

"Senior sister? We're here." Xu An gently shook his slightly groggy senior sister behind him. She had actually dozed off while hugging him from behind. Was she simply that carefree, or did she feel that safe around him?

"Hmm? We're here?!" Ye Shunguang rubbed her eyes and quickly perked up.

She looked this way and that.

"Junior brother? Is this a pharmacy?"

"Yes, that's right." Looking at the pharmacy beside the Public Security Bureau, Xu An nodded in confirmation.

"It smells just like some medicine my brother brought me once. I remember

"that time, some of my animal friends on the mountain were injured, so I had to trouble my brother to bring medicine up the mountain."

Ye Shunguang looked at the pharmacy as she spoke, then noticed the police station beside it.

"⊙∀⊙! Is that the police station?! Junior brother, do you think a group of righteous police officers might suddenly rush out to arrest criminals or something?"

"Probably not? I remember public order around here has always been pretty good. I think Belle and the others know someone at the Public Security Bureau. If you want to make friends with them, you could ask Belle," Xu An reminded her.

"No need. I'm just looking. Up on the mountain, I could only see a lot of these things on the news, or read about them in storybooks, so I'm a little curious," Ye Shunguang said.

"Junior brother! Let's go have a look across the road~" Ye Shunguang seemed to have spotted something interesting again. Taking Xu An's hand, she headed across the road.

The handsome man and beautiful woman made an eye-catching pair. Quite a few people along the street watched them, seemingly reminded of their own pasts.

The two walked along, enjoying the mildly warm afternoon sun.

"After the sun warms the road, it has this warm, cozy smell... I really like basking in the sun~ If you have time, would you like to bask in the sun together?" Ye Shunguang said.

"Yeah! I'll come visit you whenever I have time, senior sister. We can enjoy it together then, hehe," Xu An quickly replied.

"Then I'll have to get ready. It's usually just me, so I'll need to prepare another chair."

Hearing this, Xu An continued, "Right, senior sister! One of those grand armchairs, set out in your courtyard so we can lie back and bask in the sun. Especially when winter's approaching and the weather's a little chilly, basking in the sun makes your whole body feel so much better!"

"As long as you like it, junior brother. I'll be waiting for you~ Then, with the scent of sunshine around us, we can share lots and lots of secrets.

"For example~ The time I caught Master slacking off... Let's keep that one a secret for now~" Ye Shunguang agreed with a smile.

"Understood, senior sister! We'll keep it a secret for now!" Xu An answered quietly.

They wandered around for a while longer, and Xu An glanced at Ye Shunguang's lips, which seemed a little dry.

"Senior sister? Wait here for me. I'll go buy us something to drink," Xu An said.

"Mm-hmm! I'll sit here and wait for you."

Xu An checked the direction, then headed toward a nearby milk tea shop.

He ordered two different flavors.
