They had originally planned to transfer directly to Di Man Star to find Christine, but whether by coincidence or design, Catherine was actually inside the Teleportation Station, looking every bit as though she had been waiting specifically for them.
"How did you two end up together?" Catherine sized up Lin Shen and Long Yue, seeming to confirm what sort of relationship they had.
Lin Shen was unfazed, but Long Yue guiltily flushed, hastily explaining in a manner wholly unlike her usual detached nature, "Lin Shen and I have some cooperation between us."
Catherine took it in but did not press further. Instead, she looked Lin Shen over and said, "It has been quite some time since we last parted. I have missed you greatly. Shall we have a private chat?"
"Alright." Lin Shen was somewhat puzzled, not knowing what Catherine wanted to discuss with him.
Could she have discovered that I impersonated Black Heart A to communicate with her? If so, that works out perfectly. Even if she had not come looking for me, I would have sought her out to get to the bottom of Black Heart A.
