Where his eyes passed, the void split apart, and a great door appeared before him out of thin air.
This door looked exactly like the one the Jade Emperor had entered, except it was bound in chains as though tied hand and foot, with ten locks engraved with the words Heavenly Fate sealing it shut.
Looking at the Heavenly Fate locks upon the door, Lin Shen revealed a bitter smile. He slowly walked forward and reached out to grasp one of them.
The moment his fingers touched the Heavenly Fate lock, it clicked open on its own despite clearly having been locked, falling away from the door.
One by one, Lin Shen removed all ten Heavenly Fate locks and casually tossed them aside.
As all ten Heavenly Fate locks opened, the chains fell away as well. Unlike the Jade Emperor, he needed no token. With nothing at all offered, the great door rumbled open by itself.
The radiance within shone over Lin Shen's body, making him seem as though he were bathing in a river of countless vengeful spirits, with resentment filling heaven and earth.
Within that endless resentful light, strange things flowed into Lin Shen's body, making his aura increasingly profound.
