"Cassinar Urbic... an immortal who lived for nearly four centuries?" His low voice was steeped in mockery. "How laughable. The wisdom piled up over four hundred years probably wasn't even worth that of a Goblin that could survive on a battlefield."
"He took some so-called clue from who knew where and dared teleport into an ancient ruin with incomplete intelligence? Then after vanishing, he left the Empire with a mess this big."
"He had better be thoroughly dead. Otherwise, Mofulei would probably be very happy to let him learn, on His Majesty's behalf, what it means to wish for death."
Linden felt Mofulei probably would not get the chance to torture Cassinar.
Although the man was now hanging from the Gate of Cries like a strip of cured meat, and the Fungal Citizens had almost come to treat him as a permanent fixture of the scenery, he had actually been left as leveling material for Piggy.
And under the nourishment of Linden's Water of Life, Piggy was already almost at LV60. When the time came, Cassinar would be used up.
Whether Piggy could survive the next Blood-Stealing Ritual was unknown, but as material, Cassinar definitely would not.
Of course, that was not something suited for a chat with Feixi.
Linden asked a question he cared more about. "Axi, have you ever seen undead?"
As for souls, Linden had seen them, touched them, and tasted them, so they were no longer anything rare to
