The White Dragon sensed the danger, turned its head, and opened its mouth. A mass of Frost Breath had already gathered in its throat, but it had no time to release it.

The Red Dragon's foreclaws slammed viciously into the White Dragon's shoulder blade. The two giant beasts tangled together and tumbled down from midair. Their dragon wings twisted together, their scales scraped with an ear-piercing sound, and blood and shattered scales rained down like droplets.

The White Dragon's Frost Breath went wide, coating the Red Dragon's flank in a layer of frost, while the Red Dragon's fangs sank deep into the White Dragon's neck, sending blood gushing out.

They crashed down on the eastern side of the fortress. Stone walls collapsed, iron gates were crushed into twisted scrap, and before the dust had even settled, Flame Dragon Breath swept out in every direction.
