Ever since summer began, Puji House's business had been unbelievably good.
It was clearly not evening yet, with the blazing sun overhead, but the place was already packed with drinkers.
That was because at Puji House, even if you only ordered a cup of the most ordinary Mushroom Wine, they would still fill your mug with free ice.
Ice-cold beer in summer had always been a luxury for the rich.
Places that could provide that kind of service either had a water-type mage in the shop, or the owner had bought some precious magic item. Given the cooldown between uses, the ice might even be supplied in limited quantities at limited times.
As for why Puji House could provide free ice, that was no secret either.
No one knew what kind of absurd luck that boss Dylan had stumbled into, but he had drawn a rare Ice Puji from the Dungeon and kept it in the back kitchen making ice.
As a result, during the hottest hours of the day, there were even more people coming to Puji House to drink than to the dedicated taverns. Only after night fell would the crowd start to spread out elsewhere.
A slightly tipsy drinker raised his empty mug high and shouted toward the back kitchen, "Little boss! Two more cups of Delicious Mushroom Wine! Fill them with ice!"
"Coming!" the girl answered, her voice crisp and bright.
Before long, a Puji wearing a maid outfit came running over along the Puji-only walkway above the drinkers' heads. Its tentacle stretched out, delivering two cups of Mushroom Wine to
