Ch. 376Salian's Worries

Salian worried that the Elves could not contain the spreading Frenzy in the Sacred Tree Dungeon and feared the Demon Race was targeting them. He planned to join Iros’s investigation but hesitated to leave Elawen alone amid the unrest.

  • Piggy and Linden baptized a new group of Werewolves, while Little Blue showed Kallen that he had become Wolf King.
  • Kallen mocked Little Blue for calling himself Alpha while Marshal Puji sat on his head, and Linden said he liked riding there because Little Blue was tall.
  • Salian considered the Frenzy spreading through the Sacred Tree Dungeon, where Monsters continued to relapse and attack even in supposedly cleared areas.
  • Salian recalled that his friend had been infected and worried that despair and fear were helping Frenzy spread among the Elves.
  • Salian learned that the Demon Race had eased its activity on the Eastern Front, making him suspect its plans were aimed at the Elves.
  • After Iros received orders to investigate the dungeon, Salian planned to ask to accompany him but worried about leaving Elawen alone, so he decided to ask a colleague for help.

Ch. 377361 Bring Them Along

Salian took Elawen’s Scout Puji along when he went to meet his teacher Iros for the Sacred Tree Dungeon mission. Puji proved it could locate buried Magic Crystals, while Linden used the opportunity to inspect Iros and plan to learn more about the dungeon.

  • Galadriel teased Salian for asking her to watch Elawen, and Salian told his sister to stay in the Royal City while he traveled with Iros.
  • Elawen insisted that Salian take Puji along because it knew the Sacred Tree Dungeon and could warn him of danger.
  • Puji escaped Salian’s grasp, climbed onto his head, and guided him to a buried B-Rank Magic Crystal outside the Royal City.
  • Salian recognized Puji’s ability to sense Mana and decided to bring it to Iros’s residence.
  • Linden explained that he wanted to scout the dungeon, gather useful items, and prepare for dangers that might threaten Elawen and his other companions.
  • Iros discussed the mission with Salian as Linden inspected his panel and saw that the great mage was Level 87 and possessed Abyss Magic.

Ch. 378362 Noble Scavengers

Iros arrived at the Sacred Tree Dungeon and used powerful area purification to help the exhausted Druids and infected elves. He then led his students toward the front line, where Captain of the Guard Echo greeted him before Iros stopped him from embracing him because he was dirty.

  • Iros arrived at the entrance camp and went straight to the medical tent after hearing an agonized howl.
  • Iros purified the wounded across the medical area, clearing the infection and allowing the exhausted Druids to rest.
  • The ranger squad leader guided Iros and his students down toward the front line, explaining that the infected Monsters and difficult logistics had slowed progress.
  • Salian noticed that Puji and Slimes were thriving on the Monster corpses, and worried that the intelligent Xiao Ji might be vulnerable to infection.
  • Iros's group reached the chaotic front line, where Captain of the Guard Echo welcomed Iros and moved to embrace him.
  • Iros stopped Echo with a root around his ankle and said he was dirty.

Ch. 379363 Better

Iros used Nature Magic and a vast Purification Spell to stop the berserk Migratory Trees and clear a path for the Rangers. The group moved deeper into the area and encountered a final obstacle: countless poisonous silver-white trees called the Pale Pilgrimage.

  • Echo told Iros that berserk Migratory Trees and the Monsters in their branches had stalled the Rangers for days.
  • Salian used his Spatial Detection Orb to warn the group about approaching Migratory Trees, while Puji alerted him to threats the orb had not detected.
  • Iros tangled the Migratory Trees' roots to trap them as Wood-Eroding Monkeys and Thorn Pythons attacked the group.
  • Iros cast a vast Purification Spell that calmed the Migratory Trees and drove the madness from the Monsters in their branches.
  • Echo left some Rangers to watch the trees and led the main force deeper, where they encountered the poisonous silver-white trees of the Pale Pilgrimage.

Ch. 380364 Colleagues Who Sleep and Slack Off at Work

Iros, Echo, and Salian cleared a path through the Pale Pilgrimages to reach the Divine Tree at the center of the underground spiral. As Iros attempted to communicate with the dormant LV99 Dungeon Administrator Aisogal, a sudden change interrupted him.

  • The Pale Pilgrimages drew away from the forest’s edge when the Elf Rangers provoked them, but Iros and Echo destroyed the final saplings guarding the boundary.
  • Iros left Mages behind and entered the forest’s center with Echo and his three strongest students, where they found a tiny seedling that Iros identified as the Divine Tree.
  • Salian’s Spatial Recon Orb showed a distorted image, and Puji and Iros warned him not to move because the space around the Divine Tree was dangerous.
  • Linden inspected the seedling’s panel and found that Aisogal was a dormant LV99 Dungeon Administrator with no listed skills.
  • Iros enveloped the seedling in natural magic and began probing and communicating with it, but a sudden change erupted before Echo could finish asking what was happening.

Ch. 381Chapter 366

Salian and Linden were trapped in a dark space after Iros used Abyss Magic, where they discovered Information Cubes showing a ruined future. Iros revealed that the vision was the future of their land and led Salian to a second cube containing a message about the Long Night and the Ark.

  • Salian landed in the darkness with Puji and suspected that Iros had caused the spatial shift using Abyss Magic.
  • Following Puji's guidance, Salian found a black cube that appeared nonexistent to his detection magic.
  • Salian touched the cube and suffered intense pain as Linden used Puji to read its fixed information, which showed a dead land and a ruined palace disintegrating.
  • Iros appeared, eased Salian's suffering, and said the vision showed another continent beyond the mist and the future of their land.
  • Iros led Salian to a smaller cube, which displayed the message: “The Long Night of All Things arrived as scheduled. The Ark is both our final refuge and the beginning of the new world.”

Ch. 382366 Refusal

Iros showed Salian records suggesting dungeons could shelter life from the mist, then asked him to help challenge Aurell’s rule so the elves could investigate the threat. Salian refused, and Iros left him confined in the Abyss after disabling Scout Puji.

  • Iros explained that the sacred tree had transformed part of the Abyss and that dungeons could serve as isolated Arks against disasters.
  • Salian read records describing the fall of an empire and the God of Death’s attempt to find a way to save the world.
  • Iros concluded that the mist would eventually consume everything and said the elves had to study it beyond the continent’s borders.
  • Iros said Aurell would reject risky action and invited Salian to join him in opposing the king for the elves’ future.
  • Salian refused to support a plan that would sacrifice lives and asked whether he would be sacrificed too.
  • Iros told Salian to remain in the Abyss, severed several of Scout Puji’s Mycelium Tentacles, and disappeared.

Ch. 383Self-Destructing Elf

Iros assessed the Sacred Tree’s slow erosion and left Cerdan behind to prevent Echo and Salian from escaping while he stalled the Elf King. Linden, cut off from Puji’s control, sent Pelagell into the Sacred Tree Dungeon to investigate and prepared two powerful Pujis to protect his plans.

  • Iros found that the Sacred Tree was only about two-thirds eroded and left Cerdan to guard against anyone freeing Echo and Salian.
  • Linden questioned Iros’s claims and decided to uncover the truth about the Information Cubes himself, despite losing control of Puji.
  • Linden sent Pelagell through the Rift to travel openly toward the dungeon’s lower levels while avoiding Iros and the elves’ cleared paths.
  • Linden relied on Pelagell’s Mimicry and Self-Destruct abilities to conceal the mission and destroy evidence if he was exposed.
  • Two powerful Pujis began gestating beneath the Elf Forest’s Fungal Carpet to protect Linden’s pet.

Ch. 384It's Great You're Not Dead!

Riel welcomed Puji back while Linden monitored the forest and the Sacred Tree Dungeon. Pelagell reached the elf frontline camp, reunited with Cerdan, and learned that Cerdan would explain the situation around the mysterious sapling in private.

  • Riel accidentally ruined her Sky Light Potion when Puji struggled through the window, then helped the chubby mushroom inside and greeted it.
  • Linden observed that his fungal defenses had spread through the forest and kept Puji near Riel while another Puji watched over Elawen.
  • Iros left the dungeon for the elf Royal City as Pelagell made his way toward the frontline camp with a scouting Puji.
  • Pelagell recognized Cerdan at the camp, and Cerdan joyfully confirmed that his old friend was alive.
  • Cerdan led Pelagell to the restricted area near the sapling, sealed their voices behind a magic barrier, and began explaining what had happened.

Ch. 385370 Hunger Is The Devil

Trapped alone in the Abyss, Salian struggled with hunger and worried that Iros’s plan would endanger his sister, Elawen. Linden regained control of Scout Puji and searched the darkness for a way to control the space, while Salian was eventually reunited with Echo.

  • Salian remained trapped behind a curtain of darkness, feared Iros’s plan would sacrifice Elawen, and fought the urge to eat the injured Puji.
  • Scout Puji suddenly stopped wandering, and Linden sensed him again and regained control of him in the Abyss.
  • Pelagell retrieved the backpack and left with Cerdan, who explained that Iros’s spatial magic used the Dungeon’s rules rather than true spatial magic.
  • Linden sent Scout Puji into the darkness to touch the black Information Cubes in search of a way to control them.
  • Salian discovered Puji had disappeared and wondered if hunger had made him eat it before Echo found him as the dark curtain vanished.

Ch. 386370 Helpless

Echo and Salian searched the trapped void for a way out, while Linden used Puji to investigate the Information Cubes and learned how Iros’s teleportation worked. In the Elf camp, Pelagell revealed a disguised Puji and stabbed himself with an arrow.

  • Echo learned from Salian that Iros planned to enter the continent’s conflicts and had caused the spreading madness, then urged them to find a way out.
  • Salian and Echo searched the void, found another of Iros’s students, and failed to locate Cerdan or explain the vanished sections of the black wall.
  • The three elves tried reading Information Cubes but suffered severe mental strain and found no escape clues.
  • Puji passed through the remaining black wall while Linden sorted Information Cubes and discovered that Abyssal rituals within the Divine Tree’s range connected to it and could be used to invade it.
  • Cerdan delivered materials to Pelagell, who revealed that the backpack was a disguised Puji and then stabbed himself in the abdomen with an arrow.

Ch. 387Insufficient Awakening

Cerdan tried to free Pelagell from Linden’s control, but Linden convinced Pelagell to knock his friend unconscious for the sake of saving the world. Meanwhile, Linden searched the Sacred Tree’s permissions and found a switch that transported them into the abyssal space.

  • Pelagell struggled against Linden’s control, and Cerdan cast spells in an attempt to restore his will.
  • Linden told Pelagell that their great cause was saving the world, then persuaded him to believe Cerdan could be awakened later.
  • Pelagell knocked Cerdan unconscious after Cerdan begged him to resist Linden’s control.
  • Puji opened a crack into the Sacred Tree’s plane of consciousness, allowing Linden to search for its permission switch.
  • Linden’s rough search shut down much of the dungeon’s daylight barrier, then transported Puji, Pelagell, and Cerdan into the abyssal space.

Ch. 388Unexpected Attack

Salian, Echo, and the elf mage escaped the Information Cube space, and Echo rushed to evacuate the rangers while Salian hurried after him. As the elves began withdrawing, the Divine Tree entered a frenzied state, animating the forest’s giant trees and trapping the ranger units in a deadly attack.

  • Salian and his companions were suddenly transported out of the Information Cube space, and Echo raced back to camp while Salian picked up Puji and followed.
  • Echo ordered the Elf Rangers to withdraw to the surface and to detain Cerdan if they found him, then set off toward the Dungeon exit to confront Iros.
  • Linden stayed behind to search the Divine Tree’s consciousness interface and saw its status change to Dormant, Frenzy.
  • The giant trees came alive and attacked the withdrawing rangers, killing more than twenty before the elves formed a defensive line.
  • Scouts reported that animated trees filled the Dungeon’s levels, leaving the ranger commander to hold position and wait for reinforcements.

Ch. 389Protect Our Elf

Linden’s Pujis rescued Riel as the awakened trees ravaged Isildorin, while Elawen led a rescue squad through the forest. With the Divine Tree still out of control and the city overwhelmed, Iros urged Elf King Aurell to use the divine artifact.

  • Living branches attacked Riel inside the potion shop, and Puji cut her free before carrying her to a safer clearing.
  • Linden tried using Purification Spell on the Divine Tree, but it had little immediate effect, while Elawen and her companions rescued elves elsewhere.
  • Iros reported that Isildorin was under attack, the dungeon rangers were unreachable, and Echo and the others were trapped in another dimension.
  • Iros urged Elf King Aurell to use the divine artifact as the Divine Tree’s rampage threatened to cripple the city.

Ch. 390374. Artifacts Again

Elf King Aurell prepared to use the incomplete Life-Seeking Wood Core to confront the crisis in the forest, while Linden realized he might be able to complete the divine artifact. The chapter ended with Linden eyeing the artifact and wondering whether he could obtain its missing piece.

  • Aurell revealed the Life-Seeking Wood Core, whose missing branches caused it to consume its user's life force when activated.
  • Iros offered to wield the artifact, but Aurell refused and accepted the duty himself.
  • Aurell agreed to lift restrictions on aid to humans but rejected Iros's call for stronger involvement in the continent's conflicts.
  • Elven guards rescued civilians and escorted Aurell and Iros toward the Dungeon as the giant trees grew more active.
  • Iros sensed Riel and Monsters underground but chose to continue toward the Dungeon rather than delay the plan to rescue them.
  • Underground, Linden recognized the Life-Seeking Wood Core and realized he knew where its missing piece was.

Ch. 391375. A Greedy Hand

Iros and Aurell used the Life-Seeking Wood Core to cleanse the Frenzy from Sacred Tree Dungeon, but the effort left Aurell near death. As Iros secretly drained Aurell’s vitality, Echo emerged and attacked him, while someone stole the divine artifact.

  • The ranger squad captain struggled to defend the dungeon entrance until Iros and Aurell arrived with aid.
  • Aurell unleashed the Life-Seeking Wood Core, cleansing the Frenzy from the Sacred Tree and its sapling while Linden halted his search through the tree’s permissions.
  • Aurell collapsed after using the artifact, and Iros secretly cast Vitality Extraction while pretending to heal him.
  • Echo burst out of the dungeon, accused Iros of betrayal, and attacked him despite Iros claiming Echo was infected by Frenzy.
  • Iros reached for the divine artifact during the fight, but found only a small piece of the staff remaining above a newly appeared hole.

Ch. 392377. Divine Artifacts Have Spirits, Choosing Their Masters to Serve!

Linden seized the Life-Seeking Wood Core after his Puji’s explosion sent it into the Dungeon, while Iros and Echo continued fighting above. He brought the artifact into the Abyss Space beneath the Divine Tree and sent Puji toward the lowest level, where their sacrifices spread the Fungal Carpet across the fifteenth level.

  • Linden tried to pull the Wood Core away from Iros, but Iros caught the Puji’s tentacle with vines as Echo attacked him.
  • Echo’s assault destroyed Iros’s vines, and Linden detonated the Puji when Iros nearly dragged it out, sending the Wood Core into the Dungeon’s spiral.
  • Pelagell retrieved the undamaged Wood Core at the Dungeon’s bottom and handed it to Puji, while Linden discovered Iros had left a tracking mark on it.
  • Iros overpowered Echo after the Wood Core escaped, and Linden decided he could not safely return it to his home on the fourth level.
  • Linden carried the Wood Core into the Abyss Space beneath the Divine Tree and sent Puji toward him as they spread Fungal Carpet across the fifteenth level through their sacrifices.

Ch. 393377. Loss of Control

Echo and Iros fought fiercely at the Dungeon entrance, leaving Echo gravely injured and Iros without an arm. After clashing with the Rangers, Iros reached the Divine Tree sapling and entered Abyss Space to pursue the stolen divine artifact.

  • Echo used his second curved blade to redirect the first into Iros, severing Iros’s left arm, but the Scorching Ray left Echo charred and apparently unconscious as he fell into the Dungeon.
  • The elves found Echo’s twin blades and Iros’s severed arm, then sent the Royal City guards to report to Galadriel and Rangers to search the Dungeon.
  • Three days later, Iros met Salian and the Rangers, but attacked them when Echo’s adjutant accused him of being responsible for Echo’s disappearance.
  • Iros escaped the Rangers and reached the Divine Tree sapling, where he concluded that the thief had taken the divine artifact into Abyss Space.
  • Iros restored his strength with spells and a Potential Stimulation potion, then entered Abyss Space through the magic array.

Ch. 394For the Boss!

Iros entered the Abyss Space to find his marked artifact, where he discovered Cerdan and Pelagell badly wounded beneath the Divine Tree. Pelagell attacked after blaming Salian, then self-destructed, and Iros was left fighting a swarm of Pujis whose Resonance Cannons repeatedly interrupted his spellcasting.

  • Iros searched beneath the Divine Tree while using Illumination Art and other methods to avoid the Information Cubes’ effects.
  • Iros found Cerdan and Pelagell injured and unconscious, then used Clarity Art to wake Pelagell.
  • Pelagell blamed Salian and stabbed at Iros, but Iros restrained him with vines.
  • Pelagell shouted, “For the boss!” and self-destructed, badly injuring Iros and apparently killing himself and Cerdan.
  • Pujis emerged from the Information Cubes and attacked Iros, draining his magic power with Mushroom Cannons.
  • Iros dodged a Resonance Cannon and strangled its combined Monster with vines, but another cannon forced him to stop casting again.

Ch. 395380 Dismantling the Door Handle

Iros defeated Linden’s Pujis and claimed the Life-Seeking Wood Core, but Linden had dismantled the teleportation control, trapping him in the Dungeon. As Iros searched the Divine Tree’s consciousness for a way out, the tree awakened and transformed the battlefield into a sea of flowers.

  • Linden used a Diamond Rank Knight Puji’s super Self-Destruct to blast Iros, but Iros survived and cast Lava Surface, burning nearly all the Pujis.
  • Iros recovered the Life-Seeking Wood Core and declared that he would control the Divine Tree and the Elves.
  • Linden revealed that he had dismantled the teleportation control, leaving Iros unable to escape.
  • Linden sent the remaining Pujis to burn themselves in the lava, depriving Iros of food and leaving him with only Voice Puji and one carrier Puji.
  • Iros began searching the Divine Tree’s consciousness for a way to repair teleportation, while Linden planned to cause further trouble.
  • A white flower sprouted from the lava, and the Divine Tree covered the Abyss Space in flowers, restrained Iros and Puji with its roots, and lost its [Dormant] status.
