Ch. 81The second princess, Ariel

Luo Ge hurried toward Buena through the Red Dragon's Upper Jaw, driven by an increasingly ominous premonition. Nearby, Princess Ariel's fleeing party was overwhelmed by assassins until an unknown boy intervened, leaving Luke and the others staring at the newcomer.

  • Luo Ge left the Sword Sanctum before dawn and rode day and night toward Buena, carrying little besides supplies and a map.
  • Luo Ge abandoned his exhausted horse at the Red Dragon's Upper Jaw and continued on foot through the blizzard.
  • Luo Ge passed the cliff scarred by the battle with the Dragon God without stopping to dwell on the memory.
  • Princess Ariel, Luke, Fitz, and two other guards fought off more than twenty assassins as their fleeing party dwindled to five.
  • Luke nearly died when an assassin attacked his blind spot, but an approaching boy cut the assassin's head off with a swift sword stroke.

Ch. 82Silent Fitz? Sylphie!

Luo Ge slaughtered the assassins attacking Ariel’s group and tried to leave, but Fitz mistook him for Rudeus and revealed that she was Sylphie, his childhood friend. Luo Ge played along by claiming to be Rudeus, then recoiled at the thought that Sylphie had loved a man and might be interested in him too.

  • Luo Ge killed the assassin who attacked him, then swiftly cut down the remaining assassins when they charged.
  • Ariel thanked Luo Ge for rescuing her group, but he dismissed her gratitude and tried to leave.
  • Fitz recognized Luo Ge as Rudeus and rushed toward him, revealing her face and tearful emerald-green eyes.
  • Sylphie told Luo Ge that they had played together in Buena Village and that he had taught her magic.
  • Luo Ge said he was Rudeus but did not remember Sylphie, and she collapsed into the snow, crying.
  • Luo Ge wondered whether Rudeus had been romantically involved with Sylphie and feared she might have set her sights on him.

Ch. 83Three Kings?

Luo Ge comforted Sylphie after she mistook him for Rudeus, then revealed that he was Rudeus’s younger brother. Princess Ariel recognized Luo Ge as the swordsman called the Three Kings, a title he had never heard before.

  • Luo Ge returned to the crying Sylphie and helped her realize he was not Rudeus by pointing out that he lacked Rudeus’s tear mole.
  • Luke attacked Luo Ge to defend Sylphie, but Luo Ge disarmed and knocked him aside with a strike from his sword sheath.
  • Luo Ge introduced himself first as Rudeus’s older brother, then corrected himself and told Sylphie he was Rudeus’s younger brother; Sylphie was stunned by the revelation.
  • Luo Ge accepted Sylphie as his sister-in-law after seeing how genuine her feelings for Rudeus were.
  • Ariel asked whether Luo Ge was the Three Kings and explained that the title referred to his king-rank mastery of the Sword God, Water God, and North God styles.
  • Luo Ge learned that the Three Kings title had replaced Demon Sword King and privately complained that it sounded worse.

Ch. 84See You Again, Sister-in-Law

Luo Ge learned that his reputation had spread to the Asura Kingdom and feared the Dragon God might discover him, but he refused Ariel’s unspoken political overtures. He clarified his identity to Sylphie, teased her about Rudeus, and left while Ariel’s party continued toward the Ranoa University of Magic.

  • Ariel addressed Luo Ge as the Three Kings, and he worried that the Dragon God might hear of him.
  • Ariel introduced herself as the second princess of the Asura Kingdom and considered recruiting Luo Ge, but he showed no interest in her political ambitions.
  • Luo Ge told Sylphie he was Rudeus’s younger brother and asked her to call him Luo Ge.
  • Luo Ge teased Sylphie as his sister-in-law, wished her and Rudeus happiness, and departed into the snow.
  • Luke revealed that Luo Ge was his younger cousin, and Ariel memorized his name before leading the party onward toward the Ranoa University of Magic.

Ch. 85Return to Fittoa Territory

Luo Ge returned to Buena Village and found it reduced to ruins, then headed for the Adventurers' Guild to search for news of his family. Paul arrived with Norn and, believing his family might still be alive, set out for the guild in the City of Roa to organize a search.

  • Luo Ge returned to Buena Village after more than two months and found the village and his childhood home destroyed.
  • Luo Ge saw the surviving villagers grieving, then left for the Adventurers' Guild to look for information about Paul and his family.
  • Paul arrived at the ruins carrying Norn and broke down as he realized he could not find Zenith, Lilia, or Aisha.
  • Norn asked where her mother was, and Paul comforted her and promised to find her.
  • Paul carried the sleeping Norn toward the Adventurers' Guild in the City of Roa to gather people and search for his family.

Ch. 86Japanese high school girl, Nanahoshi Shizuka

Luo Ge found the unconscious Nanahoshi Shizuka amid the ruins of the Fittoa Territory and realized she had come from his original world. After joking that she was a summoned heroine, he admitted the truth and offered to take her somewhere safe.

  • Luo Ge found Nanahoshi Shizuka unconscious in the grass and recognized industrial English lettering on her clothing.
  • Nanahoshi Shizuka woke and questioned Luo Ge, who switched from broken Japanese to English and told her she had transmigrated.
  • Luo Ge introduced himself as Rog Greyrat and falsely claimed he had summoned her to defeat the Demon King.
  • Nanahoshi Shizuka saw through the lie, gave Luo Ge her name, and warned him not to make more heroine jokes.
  • Luo Ge explained that the situation was complicated and offered to take Nanahoshi Shizuka to safety, and she followed him toward the refugee camp.

Ch. 87I want to go home!

Nanahoshi Shizuka arrived in a strange world and asked Luo Ge to help her find a way home, so he brought her to the makeshift Adventurers' Guild in Roa. Luo Ge suspected her arrival was connected to the Fittoa Territory Teleportation Incident, and the chapter ended with them sharing a cramped tent for the night.

  • Nanahoshi Shizuka searched for her missing phone, learned from Luo Ge that she had arrived in a world of swords and magic, and said she wanted to return to her family and friends.
  • Luo Ge told Nanahoshi Shizuka that Teleportation Magic might offer a way home, then agreed to let her accompany him to the City of Roa.
  • On the way, Luo Ge explained the world to Nanahoshi Shizuka and said her arrival might be connected to the mass teleportation of people from Fittoa Territory.
  • Luo Ge registered at the makeshift Adventurers' Guild and received a small tent, food, and blankets for the night.
  • Nanahoshi Shizuka helped Luo Ge set up the tent, and he told her he would take the bed while she slept on the ground.

Ch. 88Luo Ge, You're Going to Die.

Hitogami warned Luo Ge that Dragon God Orsted was approaching Roa and that Luo Ge would die if he stayed. He urged Luo Ge to leave for Shirone, where one of his younger sisters was in danger, and gave him clues to finding his family; Luo Ge woke resolved to protect them.

  • Hitogami told Luo Ge that Orsted was coming to investigate the Fittoa Teleportation Incident and that Luo Ge had less than a ten percent chance of defeating him.
  • Hitogami advised Luo Ge to leave Roa before sunset the next day and travel to the Shirone Kingdom, where one of his younger sisters was in danger.
  • Hitogami said Paul was heading to Roa, Zenith was alive but in trouble, and Luo Ge could seek clues about her by finding Demon Emperor Kishirika on the Demon Continent.
  • Hitogami told Luo Ge that Rudeus was adventuring on the Demon Continent with Eris and a man from the Superd Tribe.
  • Luo Ge woke beside Nanahoshi Shizuka, reflected on his family, and accepted that he would use Hitogami's information while protecting his family.

Ch. 89Norn?

Luo Ge and Nanahoshi Shizuka left the refugee camp, but stopped when he rescued a lost girl named Norn from a human trafficker and his armed companions. After defeating them, Luo Ge set out to take Norn to the Adventurers' Guild to find her father, just as two beast-eared maids arrived.

  • Nanahoshi Shizuka returned with free black bread, and Luo Ge told her they had to leave because a powerful enemy was looking for him; she chose to stay with him.
  • Luo Ge stopped a man from taking the crying Norn and learned she had become separated from her father.
  • The trafficker returned with seven or eight armed men, and Luo Ge quickly incapacitated them and killed the trafficker.
  • Luo Ge asked Nanahoshi Shizuka to look after Norn and learned the girl expected to find her father at the Adventurers' Guild.
  • As Luo Ge and Nanahoshi Shizuka prepared to take Norn to the guild, two beast-eared maids rushed up and called out to her.

Ch. 90Demon Sword King, Luo Ge?

Luo Ge rescued Norn and returned her to Paul before leaving Fittoa Territory with Nanahoshi Shizuka. When Norn told Paul her rescuer’s name, Paul learned that the Demon Sword King was also called Luo Ge and wondered if the powerful swordsman could be his presumed-dead son.

  • Luo Ge said goodbye to Norn after her maids found her, then continued toward the border with Nanahoshi Shizuka.
  • Nanahoshi Shizuka teased Luo Ge about being gentle with Norn, and he hurried onward because he needed to leave Fittoa Territory before sunset.
  • Paul grew furious when he discovered Norn missing, but the cat-eared maid soon brought her safely back.
  • Norn told Paul that Luo Ge had rescued her and described him as handsome and tall, like her father.
  • Alphonse told Paul that the Demon Sword King, a King Rank practitioner of three sword styles, was named Luo Ge.
  • Paul dismissed the possibility that the Demon Sword King was his presumed-dead son, but told Norn that her big brother had once been remarkable.

Ch. 91The Shirone Kingdom

After reaching Latakia, Luo Ge and Nanahoshi settled into an inn, and Nanahoshi insisted on helping him search for his sister. They headed into the city together, where Luo Ge began looking for clues despite knowing only that his sister was somewhere in the Shirone Kingdom.

  • Luo Ge and Nanahoshi arrived in Latakia after more than two months of travel and found a reasonably priced inn.
  • Luo Ge suggested Nanahoshi stay at the inn to rest while he searched for his sister, but she asked to help him instead.
  • Luo Ge agreed to take Nanahoshi with him, though he knew she could not use magic or strengthen her body with mana because her meridians were blocked.
  • Luo Ge and Nanahoshi walked through Latakia's market as he searched for clues about his sister's whereabouts.
  • Luo Ge wondered whether to ask Hitogami for help, then rejected the idea, and Nanahoshi asked if he had a problem.

Ch. 92Nanahoshi's suggestion

Nanahoshi proposed a three-part search plan, and Luo Ge followed her advice by posting a missing-person commission at the Shirone Kingdom's Adventurers' Guild. Afterward, the two continued their search while hoping to find their respective families and a way home.

  • Nanahoshi suggested posting a highly rewarded missing-person notice, seeking the king's help, and organizing a search-and-rescue team among other Fittoa Territory victims.
  • Luo Ge praised Nanahoshi's thorough plan and agreed to start by posting a notice at the Adventurers' Guild.
  • At the busy Shirone Kingdom guild, Luo Ge submitted a commission seeking a little girl from Buena Village and information about other teleportation victims.
  • The guild clerk registered the commission and displayed it prominently, then asked Luo Ge for an address where the guild could reach him.
  • Outside the guild, Nanahoshi wished Luo Ge luck finding his sister, and he wished her luck returning to her world and reuniting with her parents.

Ch. 93Your name is Aisha?

Luo Ge and Nanahoshi headed to the Shirone palace hoping to find Roxy, but encountered a young girl named Aisha being pursued by palace guards. Luo Ge drove the guards off and promised to help Aisha save her mother, though he still did not know who her father was.

  • Luo Ge learned that Roxy was in the Shirone Kingdom and told Nanahoshi that she was his teacher and the person he respected most.
  • Luo Ge bathed, changed clothes, and wrote Roxy a letter before heading toward the palace with Nanahoshi.
  • Luo Ge noticed a red-haired little girl following them, and she asked him to deliver a letter to her father because bad people had imprisoned her and her mother.
  • Two palace guards seized the letter and tried to take the girl away, but Luo Ge shielded her and knocked them back with Voiceless Magic.
  • The girl reclaimed her letter, introduced herself as Aisha, and asked Luo Ge to save her mother; he promised he would help.

Ch. 94Zanoba Shirone

Luo Ge protected Aisha from Ginger and the guards, but the arrival of a prince turned the confrontation into a bizarre encounter when the prince tackled him in adoration. The prince reached into his pocket, leaving Luo Ge alarmed about what he would do next.

  • Luo Ge promised Aisha he would help find her father and rescue her mother, then prepared to leave with her and Nanahoshi.
  • Ginger and her guards surrounded Luo Ge and demanded that he hand Aisha over, but Luo Ge refused.
  • A prince arrived and ordered the guards aside, then examined Luo Ge and proclaimed him a work of art.
  • The prince tackled Luo Ge and held him down despite Luo Ge using Touki to resist.
  • The prince reached into his trouser pocket as Luo Ge worried about what he was about to pull out.

Ch. 95Aisha's mother?

Luo Ge learned that Zanoba’s treasured figurines had been made by Rudeus and agreed to introduce them, if he could, in exchange for Zanoba helping rescue Aisha’s mother. After Zanoba was summoned by his father, Luo Ge waited at the prince’s palace, still hoping to reunite Aisha with her mother and find his own family.

  • Zanoba showed Luo Ge a figurine modeled on his childhood likeness and begged to meet its maker; Luo Ge realized Rudeus had made it.
  • Luo Ge told Zanoba that Rudeus was his younger brother and was currently on the Demon Continent, then promised to consider introducing them.
  • Zanoba ordered his guards to withdraw, but only Ginger obeyed because the others served Pax.
  • Luo Ge asked Zanoba to rescue Aisha’s kidnapped mother, and Zanoba agreed after learning she was being held at Pax’s palace.
  • Luo Ge left Nanahoshi and Aisha at the inn and accompanied Zanoba to the royal palace, where Zanoba learned his father had summoned him.
  • Zanoba left Luo Ge in his residence, and Luo Ge waited while thinking about Aisha’s mother and his missing family.

Ch. 96The Seventh Prince, Pax

Luo Ge followed Ginger to meet the Shirone Kingdom’s seventh prince, Pax, after she claimed Roxy was there. He discovered Pax had lured him into an ambush and planned to use him to force Roxy to return, leaving Luo Ge silently filled with killing intent.

  • Luo Ge grew bored waiting for Zanoba and asked the palace butler if he could look around.
  • Ginger told Luo Ge that the seventh prince wanted to see him and that Roxy was there, so Luo Ge agreed to follow her.
  • Pax revealed his scheme to capture Roxy’s disciple and use him to make Roxy submit, then ordered Lilia taken away and guards hidden around the hall.
  • Luo Ge entered the hall and sensed at least a dozen armed men lying in ambush.
  • Pax mistook Luo Ge for Rudeus, admitted Roxy had left, and threatened to capture him to lure Roxy back and force her to bear his children.
  • Luo Ge stayed silent as his eyes flashed with cold light and he began to harbor killing intent.

Ch. 97An enemy of the entire Shirone Kingdom?

Luo Ge defeated Pax’s guards and Ginger, then repeatedly healed and mutilated the seventh prince. When Ginger warned that killing Pax would make all of Shirone Kingdom hunt him, Luo Ge demanded to know what made the kingdom worthy of being his enemy.

  • Pax ordered his guards to seize Luo Ge, but Luo Ge knocked them all down with one sword swing.
  • Ginger attacked Luo Ge, who caught her blade between two fingers, snapped it, and knocked her into a pillar.
  • Luo Ge severed Pax’s arm, healed it, and repeatedly cut off and regrew his limbs until Pax begged for mercy.
  • Ginger urged Luo Ge not to kill the seventh prince because Shirone Kingdom would pursue him as a criminal.
  • Luo Ge challenged Ginger’s warning and demanded to know what Shirone Kingdom was to deserve becoming his enemy.

Ch. 98Run? Why Would We Run?!

Luo Ge tortured Prince Pax and demanded that Ginger bring Aisha’s mother, Lilia, to him. After reuniting with Lilia and revealing that he was alive, he refused to flee when Shirone’s knights surrounded them and prepared to face the arriving forces.

  • Luo Ge declared that disrespecting a god was a capital offense and crushed Pax’s bones beneath his foot.
  • Luo Ge gave Ginger three minutes to bring Aisha’s mother, threatening to kill Pax if she failed.
  • Ginger brought Lilia to the hall, and Luo Ge and Lilia recognized each other and embraced.
  • Lilia learned that Luo Ge had survived the Dragon God encounter that Ghislaine had reported as his death.
  • As Shirone’s knights converged on the hall, Luo Ge stopped Lilia from running and challenged the surrounding forces to explain why they should flee.

Ch. 99Luo Ge Was a Sword King? Lilia Was Stunned!

Luo Ge revealed himself as the Demon Sword King and defeated the knights sent against him after they surrounded him in the Shirone Kingdom. He left Pax alive and broken, while Lilia realized how deeply Luo Ge cared for her and vowed that she and Aisha would belong to him.

  • Luo Ge released Pax and walked toward the knights, leaving them stunned that he had abandoned his hostage.
  • Ginger attacked Luo Ge, but he broke her sword and defeated her with a single slash; she recognized him as the Demon Sword King before losing consciousness.
  • Pax ordered the knights to attack, but Luo Ge cut through their ranks and slaughtered them as Lilia watched in amazement.
  • Luo Ge returned to Lilia unharmed, then confronted Pax, who begged to be killed after enduring his torture.
  • Lilia realized Luo Ge had been furious because Pax imprisoned her and vowed that she and Aisha would dedicate their lives to him.

Ch. 100His identity exposed? He was the Demon Sword King!

Luo Ge prepared to leave the Shirone Kingdom with Lilia, but Ginger’s defiance drew his attention back to Pax. The king of Shirone and Zanoba secured Pax’s survival by pleading with Luo Ge, who forgave him this time and left with Lilia.

  • Ginger struggled to her feet and accused Luo Ge of a grave crime, prompting him to remember Pax and prepare to kill him.
  • Zanoba rushed in and begged Luo Ge to spare Pax as the king of Shirone arrived and demanded an explanation.
  • After hearing Ginger’s account, the king slapped Pax for kidnapping a Sword King’s family and offending Luo Ge.
  • The king apologized and offered to strip Pax of his royal status, while Zanoba knelt and asked Luo Ge to spare his younger brother.
  • Luo Ge asked Lilia what she wanted, then settled his favor to Zanoba and warned that he would show no mercy next time.
  • Luo Ge refused the king’s offer of gifts, requested a carriage for the next day, and left the hall with Lilia.
