Xia Chen abandoned his weapon to draw out Imu’s strength and push himself toward god-level Haki, but Imu exploited his excitement to strike him into the sea. Imu believed Xia Chen was helpless and prepared to finish him with flames.

• Roger and Rayleigh watched the battle from the wreckage of the Jackson and marveled at Xia Chen and Imu’s strength.
• Xia Chen put away the Jingu Bang and attacked Imu with Haki-coated fists, deliberately accepting the pressure to help himself break through.
• Imu blocked Xia Chen’s relentless attacks, then vanished and struck him in the chest, sending him crashing into the sea.
