The first update for today is here. Happy birthday to all the curly-haired baboons!

I have to say, I was really surprised that you guys even dragged Curly-haired Baboon to your birthday celebration. So we decided on April 1st, which is the day the Mysteries Book will be released.

Two years have passed in the blink of an eye, and the Curly-haired Baboon team is getting better and better. Of course, I would call them that when I'm joking around, but in serious situations, I still prefer to call everyone book friends or readers, so that we are all on the same level.

Initially, I planned to write Mysteries for one and a half to two years, but once I actually started writing, I knew that one and a half years would definitely not be enough, because there are too many details and too many stories to tell, and rushing it would only make it lose its charm and the feeling I wanted.

This is the book with the longest writing period of my life. However, because I always kept at least one chapter in reserve and had one day off every week, I didn't feel as tired or anxious as when I wrote Martial Arts and the later stages of One Life. Well, when I was writing Arcane Arts and Destruction of Fortune, I was still young and full of energy, so I didn't feel much. However, when I was writing the side stories for Arcane Arts, I felt very tired. After all, it was already finished, and I wanted to rest. I didn't want to write at all.

Here, I would like to sincerely thank everyone for your support and companionship. Your reading has given me money and laughter, and your comments, your exchanges, and all the various attempts you have made have given me spiritual joy and satisfaction. So, I really want to congratulate the curly-haired baboons on their second birthday!

Returning to my writing in March, I found it much better because I slowed down and focused on writing more details and subplots. Indeed, writing requires a balance of pace and relaxation; constantly rushing to meet deadlines and maintaining a tight rhythm isn't always a good thing. Of course, writing details and subplots is also a painful process. After all, I've already written over 4 million words, and much of what needs to be written has already been covered. Repeating it would lose its appeal and readability. This forces me to constantly rack my brains, searching for new angles or new writing techniques to strive to give you a different reading experience.

For me, this was also a phase of experimentation and learning, because I truly experienced a new worldview, some new structures, and new stories that could directly lead to new plot points and extend into new narrative techniques. This is a very good thing. Formulas are inevitable, but we should strive to create new formulas and use better narrative techniques to better express what we want to express.

I will elaborate on this point in more detail after I finish writing about the Mysteries; I won't go into it here.

Judging from the follow-up subscription feedback, the effect is quite good. A single increase in follow-up subscriptions for one or two copies is not indicative of a problem, as it could be due to hype or excitement. However, the fact that follow-up subscriptions have remained at a high level proves that the content in March is still very popular. Most of the time, follow-up subscriptions fluctuate within a range of 2,000 to 59,000, and often even remain stable above 60,000. On average, this is much higher than the sixth installment.

Of course, it's not without its problems. Because I've put so much effort into thinking about the plot, the angles from which to approach the story, and the narrative techniques, I often write in a rush, without enough polish. Some transitions don't quite hold up the tension of the plot, and these are all things that need improvement.

Well, it's April, a new month, a new beginning for the two-year anniversary, and Curly-haired Baboon's birthday. Please give me your guaranteed monthly votes!

By the way, I have something to do tomorrow morning, so the second update will still be at 7 PM. Thank you all for your support.
