Background / History

Xu Sanshi first appears at Shrek Academy when he tries to snatch Huo Yuhao’s grilled fish, provoking a confrontation with Tang Ya and Lin Qianyi. Beibei intervenes and challenges him to a duel in the Battle Soul Arena, drawing a large crowd that includes Wang Dong and Jiang Nannan 8.

He is already known as Beibei’s defensive counterpart in the Outer Court. Tang Ya describes Beibei as the “Outer Court’s Strongest Attack,” while Xu Sanshi “dominates the defense field” through a mutated Martial Soul with water control and exceptional defense. Together, they are called the “Twin Stars of the Outer Court” 8.

Before their duel, Beibei pressures Xu Sanshi over a Mysterious Water Pill and turns the match into a wager. Xu Sanshi accepts despite recognizing Beibei’s scheming, showing both competitiveness and willingness to gamble 9. On the Battle Soul Stage, his defense clashes with Beibei’s offense, but Beibei uses a surprise Spiritual Detection-based disruption to break through and win. Personality

Xu Sanshi is introduced as arrogant and aggressive, escalating a food dispute into a public confrontation 8. His rivalry with Beibei shows a more competitive side: he accepts bets, endures Beibei’s schemes, and still fights seriously on the Battle Soul Stage 9.

His strongest emotional trait is his attachment to Jiang Nannan.
