"I've already used one. My teacher gave it to me."

Chu Yuan spoke.

Sake nodded repeatedly. "Right, right, right. Your teacher is a Peak World Lord. Getting you a Domain Lord Level Bloodline Evolution Agent would be no trouble at all."

He gave Chu Yuan a long look and patted his shoulder. "Fourth, your eldest brother, second brother, and I have all basked in your reflected glory this time."

Chu Yuan waved a hand generously. "Dad, what are you saying? We're family. Once my clearance gets a little higher, I'll be able to buy more Bloodline Evolution Agents for everyone in the family."

"Yes, family. We're family."

Sake felt his nose sting a little, and his eyes began to itch.

Chu Yuan tilted his head. "Dad, you're not about to cry, are you? An old man tens of thousands of years old sniffling and wiping away tears-the very thought sends a chill down my spine."

Sake slapped Chu Yuan on the head. "You little brat, what the hell are you talking about? How could I possibly cry?"

Chu Yuan shrugged. "All right, I've said everything I needed to. Just wait at home for news. The Bloodline Evolution Agents will be delivered to you before long."

As Chu Yuan closed the door, he looked back with a teasing smile. "Dad, once I'm gone, you can keep crying if you want. I guarantee nobody will peek."

Sake grabbed a cup and hurled it at him. "Get lost, you little brat!"

After Chu Yuan left, Sake immediately left the Virtual Universe.

In reality, on the Leinuo Family's ancestral planet, Leinuo Star.

It was an enormous planet over a hundred thousand kilometers in diameter. Its surface had been converted into a war fortress, with terrifying energy weapons everywhere.

Thick cannon barrels thrust into the sky, occasionally lighting up with an eerie blue glow.

Countless spacecraft entered and departed the spaceport, blotting out the sky like locusts.

The Leinuo Family had developed Leinuo Star for over ninety thousand years, long since fortifying their ancestral planet as tightly as an iron barrel.

Even a Universe Level 9 expert who intruded would instantly be blasted to ashes by countless energy weapons.

Sake walked out of his villa and shot into the sky as a streak of light, flying across more than half the planet before landing on an isolated island in the middle of the ocean.

There were no traces of technology on the island. Everything remained in its primeval state.

The roars of fierce beasts rang through the forest, and quite a few of those beasts possessed Star Level strength.

Sake passed through the forest, and a small three-story building appeared ahead, with a lake beside it.

At the edge of the lake, a young man sat in a pavilion, fishing with a rod in his hand.

"Damn it, skunked again. I've been getting skunked all morning. Have all the fish in this lake died?"

Cursing, the young man lifted his rod. The bait on the hook had long since been eaten.

Sake came up behind the young man and called respectfully, "Father."

This was the founder of the Leinuo Family, Leinuo.

He had established the Leinuo Family after breaking through to Universe Level, and his name, Leinuo, had naturally become the family's surname.

Sake was Leinuo's fifth son.

Leinuo looked back and glared at Sake, curling his lip. "I was wondering why I'd been getting skunked all morning. Turns out you scared all my fish away."

Sake could not help rolling his eyes. "Father, I wasn't even here when you were getting skunked. Your technique is obviously just terrible."

"My technique is terrible?!"

Leinuo could not take that lying down. "Who on Leinuo Star doesn't know my fishing skills are the best in the world? I've won ninety-nine consecutive fishing championships. Do you think I'm joking?"

Sake's toes clawed at the ground in embarrassment as he grumbled inwardly, No shit. You're Leinuo Star's patriarch. Who would dare beat you?

As Leinuo baited his hook, he asked, "Well, what did you come to see me for? Has the family run into another problem it can't solve?"

"If it's a powerful enemy, bow your head when you should and retreat when you should. If it's a disaster that could wipe out the family, pack up and run as soon as possible."

Sake straightened, his expression proud. "Father, I came today with good news."

"My fourth son, Chu Yuan, comprehended a domain. A Peak World Lord took him as a disciple, and he's also joined the Virtual Universe Company."

Leinuo was attaching the bait, but his hands stopped when he heard this.

He slowly turned and looked Sake up and down, suspicion in his eyes. "Are you sure you're talking about your son? Your wife hasn't put a green hat on you, has she?"

Sake's face alternated between green and white. "Father, Chu Yuan is definitely my son. There's no doubt about that. But now I'm starting to wonder whether I'm yours."

Leinuo snorted. "If you weren't my son, I would've strangled you the day you were born."

He flicked his rod, dropping the bait into the lake, then continued, "It certainly is good news, something worth being happy about. No wonder you're so excited."

Sake said, "Fourth bought three Domain Lord Level Bloodline Evolution Agents. I was thinking of saving one for you, Father. With your accumulated foundation, you should be able to break through to Domain Lord after using it."

"No need."

Leinuo refused outright, saying mildly, "I broke through to Domain Lord long ago."

As he spoke, he revealed a trace of his Domain Lord aura.

Enveloped by that aura, Sake instantly felt cold all over and froze in place, unable to move.

"D-D-Domain Lord!"

Sake's eyes widened as he stared dumbfounded at Leinuo's back, disbelief written all over his face.

"When did you break through?"

Leinuo's tone was calm. "Ten thousand years ago."

Sake cried out involuntarily, "Ten thousand years ago?!!!"

He was stunned, as though he had seen a ghost.

He never could have imagined that his father had already become a Domain Lord ten thousand years ago.

"Father, why didn't you tell us you'd broken through to Domain Lord? This is tremendous news!"

After the shock passed, Sake was overcome with joy.

The Leinuo Family finally had a Domain Lord expert presiding over it.

"What's there to celebrate? A Domain Lord isn't some invincible overlord."

Leinuo's tone remained calm. "The universe is vast. Plenty of Domain Lords die every year. If you want to live long, you have to keep something up your sleeve."

"You lot are just too rash. You don't understand the principle of concealing your abilities at all."

Sake nodded repeatedly. "Yes, yes, Father, you're right to lecture me. The tree that rises above the forest will be battered by the wind."

"I originally wanted to throw a proper celebration for Fourth, but now that I think about it, we'd better forget it."

Leinuo nodded. "Good, as long as you understand. He's only become a World Lord's disciple and joined the Virtual Universe Company. There are still plenty of hurdles ahead. Just casually hold a rolling banquet within the family for ten years and treat everyone to a meal. That'll do."

Sake froze. "Didn't you say we shouldn't celebrate? If we hold a rolling banquet for ten years, won't everyone outside the family know?"

"Of course!"

Leinuo launched into a tirade, glaring at Sake with exasperation at his failure to amount to anything. "How can your son and I be the same? I'm just a Domain Lord with nobody to rely on. Of course I have to conceal my abilities. Your son's teacher is a Peak World Lord, and he himself belongs to the Virtual Universe Company. Who in the Black Dragon Mountain Starfield would dare touch him?"

"With connections that powerful, of course he should show them off without restraint. What's there to hide? If you pretend to be a pig to eat a tiger, aren't you afraid you'll actually turn into a pig?"

"He told you this news because he clearly wanted you to use it to show off. Can't you even understand something that simple? How did I father an idiot like you?"

"Get lost, get lost! Stop being an eyesore. You've scared all my fish away."
