Jiang Jie was swallowed whole by Shen-zin Su.
He discovered that Shen-zin Su's belly contained a hidden world, not only extremely large, but also filled with breathable air, and even containing certain special minerals and gems emitting light, like an independent world. This made him realize that at Shen-zin Su's level of life, the body had undergone changes. Although Shen-zin Su itself did not understand what was happening, it was truly different from ordinary creatures.
This reminded Jiang Jie that in the original history, there was also a Pandaren named " Wang You " who, along with his fishing boat, was accidentally swallowed by Shen-zin Su and lived well for a long time before emerging from Shen-zin Su's stomach.
Jiang Jie placed his hand on Shen-zin Su's internal organs and tissues, observing them closely and channeling his own Chi into Shen-zin Su's body, attempting to sense Shen-zin Su in this way.
Then he realized he was wrong.
Compared to Shen-zin Su's enormous body, his meager Chi was like a small pebble thrown into a pond, unable to make much of a ripple.
"As expected, there's no way to cheat." Jiang Jie smiled bitterly, preparing to emerge from Shen-zin Su's stomach and return to the back of the Zhaoren the Onyx Cloud Serpent.
Just then, he saw a faint light emanating from a place inside the somewhat dimly lit stomach of Shen-zin Su.
"What is that?"
Jiang Jie had already discovered many things inside Shen-zin Su's stomach. It was clear that Shen-zin Su had swallowed countless random things over the past 800 years, such as scrap metal, ship fragments, and the like. Shen-zin Su was enormous; he could swallow a small boat whole in one gulp without breaking a sweat.
Jiang Jie quickly walked over and found a bead among a pile of junk.
Pearl was about the same size as Jiang Jie's fist, basically the kind that could be embedded in the top of a staff.
Its milky white pearly layer reflected a faint light, forming ever-changing, soft rainbow rays. Jiang Jie gazed at it, thinking that such a beautiful pearl must be a thousand times better than the legendary large luminous pearl. It was impossible for such a thing to be produced on Earth, and it was probably difficult for such a beautiful pearl to be born naturally in this world. It must be a magical item.
Moreover, it's an extremely precious magical item; it might actually qualify as a "divine artifact"!
"Could it be... that thing?" Jiang Jie, filled with doubt and surprise.
Many memories are hazy, but one item remains in my mind: the Pearl of Pandaria.
It was a bright pearl, said to be related to the Murloc and the Naga. It was once swallowed by Shen-zin Su, but it is unclear exactly when it was swallowed. One theory is that Shen-zin Su swallowed it when he was very young, and it was later obtained by the Murloc for various reasons.
It was that Pandaren named " Wang You " who brought the Pearl of Pandaria with him when he emerged from the belly of the Shen-zin Su.
Of course, those things can't be taken as absolute truth. The real world is very different from what we remember, and the details about the Pearl of Pandaria are not necessarily exactly the same.
"If it really is the Pearl of Pandaria, then its purpose is..."
Jiang Jie placed the pearl on her forehead and closed her eyes.
The pearl began to shimmer quietly, its surface colors swirling and coalescing into a Maelstrom. Jiang Jie felt somewhat dizzy, and when he opened his eyes again, he found himself surrounded by a thick, silvery-gray fog, and the pearl in his hand was gone.
Jiang Jie frowned, feeling that this couldn't be real.
Of course, it's not real, but an illusion. That's the power of the Pearl of Pandaria; it's like a magical artifact. Through it, Jiang Jie can see what he wants to see. Many powerful barriers in this world cannot block Jiang Jie's eyes, or rather, his mind.
It gave Jiang Jie a new perspective.
Jiang Jie was certain that this pearl didn't possess the ability to predict the future, as the legends claimed. Ever since his conversation with Medivh...
He became deeply convinced that there is no such thing as predicting the future; the future is always uncertain. Therefore, this perspective only sees the real world, or perhaps some of one's own inner desires.
"It really is it!" Jiang Jie was both surprised and delighted.
As the fog began to dissipate, Jiang Jie looked down upon the endless green pastures, dotted with beautiful trees bearing pink blossoms.
The scene shifts, focusing on a bustling town where Pandaren roam the streets, selling goods and going about their daily lives. All the buildings here are somewhat similar to those on Wandering Isle, yet there are many differences.
The view continued to move, and on the snow-capped mountain slopes that soared into the clouds, huge and dense pine and cypress forests covered the landscape, while seagulls and mergansers sped along the beach where the sea met the land.
Jiang Jie slowly floated upwards. The silver mist churned towards the center, surging in from the sea, growing thicker and thicker until it completely obscured the land below. Suspended in mid-air, Jiang Jie saw the sun set on the western horizon, far beyond the edge of the fog, its golden-red light shimmering on the sea. The stars in the east had begun to twinkle, and the twin moons of Azeroth were dimming, clearly indicating that it was already dawn there.
An unknown land with mountains, forests, and fields, hidden deep in the fog of the South Seas, yet inhabited by Pandaren?
Jiang Jie could only think of one place:
Pandaria.
As expected, it was the Pearl of Pandaria. The first illusion that Jiang Jie experienced was a vision of Pandaria!
"And what about other places?"
Jiang Jie thought of Theramore, then his vision quickly changed to the image of a small island, but there were no humans or buildings on it, clearly Jaina and her fleet had not reached Theramore.
That's right. The expeditionary force should have first reached the area north of Theramore, where Dustwallow Marsh and the Barrens meet, and then established the first human city on the Kalimdor there.
Northwatch Hold.
Jiang Jie thought of the Northwatch Hold, but his perspective remained unchanged.
" The Pearl of Pandaria... doesn't seem to be that useful. Its wonders still need to be explored." Jiang Jie tried to observe other places, such as Stormwind City and Moonglade, but found it useless; he couldn't find it at all.
Jiang Jie seemed to be deep in thought.
This pearl seems to possess its own spirit; it is not easily controlled. Often, it guides others rather than others using it.
It gave Jiang Jie a view of Theramore, perhaps telling Jiang Jie that he should go to Theramore now, not the Northwatch Hold.
Perhaps it was because by the time he arrived in Theramore, Jaina and her army had already reached Theramore as well?
"The first vision is of Pandaria. Perhaps you truly belong to Pandaria, or even come from Pandaria. You are guiding me to return you home... If it is guidance, then can you guide me to what I desire most right now?" Jiang Jie whispered, " Shen-zin Su!"
One minute later.
"Alright, it seems the Pearl of Pandaria doesn't have X-ray capabilities. You can't possibly scan the Shen-zin Su with your power!" Jiang Jie shook his head slightly.
Ultimately, there's no room for shortcuts.
However, he wasn't too discouraged, because once the game pod had more energy, he could directly scan the entire Wandering Isle, which he couldn't do yet; he hadn't accumulated enough energy.
Furthermore, if he or Shen-zin Su were to achieve spiritual mastery, they could directly penetrate the other's soul and engage in a spiritual exchange that transcends the physical body. Wasn't the Druid's initial Animal Form a gift bestowed upon them by the Wild God in this very way?
After putting away the Pearl of Pandaria, Jiang Jie left Shen-zin Su's stomach and returned to the back of the Zhaoren the Onyx Cloud Serpent.
