" Earthen, block the breach! Everyone else, retreat! Prepare for fire attack!" Jiang Jie gave the order again.

Jars filled with oil were placed on the city wall.

In order to defend the city, Jiang Jie ordered the requisition of oil throughout the city, but unfortunately, not much oil was collected, which was enough to make do with what was available.

The Earthen are incredibly powerful, holding the city walls firmly, preventing the Undead from breaking through in a short time.

Some of these Earthen are spellcasters, capable of using certain spells to alleviate the pressure of defending the city.

Earthen possess hard rock bodies, are immune to plagues and infections, and are even impervious to swords, spears, water, and fire. Even if they stand still, they can prevent the Undead from attacking.

Unfortunately Archaedas and Ironaya had to stay in Uldaman to defend against the attacks of the Rockjaw Trogg and Dark Iron Dwarves, so they couldn't be brought along. Otherwise, the two of them could have blocked the two gaps, and even if the Scourge Giant and the Undead Vrykul charged in, they wouldn't have been able to break through their defenses.

The Earthen in the front row blocked the Undead, while the Earthen in the back row picked up stones and rocks from the collapsed city wall and threw them forward, crushing Undead undead to death. The piled-up stones quickly blocked the gap, and then the Earthen climbed onto the pile of stones to continue resisting the Undead's attack.

Fortunately, the gap isn't large, and they can hold it in for now.

Ten minutes later, a dense swarm of Undead arrived at the foot of the city wall. The Undead below carried the Undead above them as they climbed up, trying to pile them up to the same height as the city wall so they could climb inside.

"Fire attack!"

At Jiang Jie's command, the city guards pushed oil jars down one by one, smashing them and spilling large amounts of oil. Then, Archmage Angela cast a Fireball, igniting the swarming Undead.

The smell of burning flesh mingled with thick smoke, carrying with it the terrible Undead Plague. Even if the Undead were defeated, many in Stromgarde would likely be infected by the Undead Plague, some would turn into Undead, and many more would become weak and afflicted with disease. This city was truly plagued by misfortune.

The previous catapults had wiped out at least a thousand Undead, and a fire attack had wiped out another Undead, causing a setback for the Undead army.

The burning flames held back the Undead, but as the fire subsided, the Undead charged forward again.

Thousands of the Undead have gathered; the Earthen are about to be overwhelmed!

"It's our turn!"

Just as Jiang Jie was about to jump down and fight the Undead, a guard suddenly ran over, bent over with his hands on his knees, panting heavily. Then he looked up and shouted, "They're here! They're here!"

They've arrived?

Jiang Jie turned his head and saw that it was the person who was responsible for staying in Tower of Arathor to keep an eye on the Scarlet Crusade.

Jiang Jie hadn't held out much hope, but they actually came, and so quickly no less. Did Southshore have ships that fast? Could it be that Kul Tiras ship just happened to be passing by?

But now is the most intense moment of the battle; how can he leave?

" Nicholas, don't worry, we'll take care of things here!"

King Thoradin down, his voice like muffled thunder in a winter night. " Orgrim, do you dare to fight me?"

From the Undead army, Orgrim, who had been standing beside Kel'Thuzad, Doomhammer in hand, upon hearing King Thoradin's challenge, his voice booming like summer thunder. " Thoradin! Orcs never fear battle! I killed Lothar, and I can kill you too!"

The two Legendary Death Knight quickly engaged in battle.

Death energy surged forth, and no one could approach within ten meters of them—neither Undead undead nor the Earthen. This Legendary battle was extraordinary; unless their numbers reached a certain threshold, causing a qualitative change from a quantitative one, there was no way to defeat them.
