Not long after they descended, a light appeared at the entrance of the passage. Huang Liang walked towards the light and saw another small red lamp hanging on the wall ahead, beneath which was a low door. The strange sounds came from behind the door, clearer than before, but also much noisier.

Huang Liang frowned. Although the sound was coming through a door that was fairly soundproof, he could still make out that there were quite a few people inside. Huang Liang wasn't an inexperienced child; he could naturally tell that these were sounds of intimacy between a man and a woman.

He pushed open the door, and sure enough, a disgusting scene came into view:

The basement was very spacious, with pink lights hanging on the walls, just like those in the corridor, making it look like an underground bar. Only a large chandelier hung in the center of the ceiling, casting warm yellow light onto an open space in the middle of the room, like a stage. Groups of men and women were entangled naked on the stage, their Huahua buttocks and thighs twitching and writhing in the light, looking like a bunch of maggots from a distance.

The lewd sounds Huang Liang heard came from there...

Scattered around the perimeter of the central open space were numerous tables, chairs, and wine racks. Some men and women sat there resting, some whispering, and some watching the game with glee. Most of them, like the people on the ground, were naked, and it was unclear whether they were queuing up to join or had already given up.

Seeing Huang Liang walk in, a man at one of the tables exclaimed excitedly, "Wow, another fresh addition! We're going to win this time!"

The woman opposite him, her chest heaving, said, "Don't be too happy yet. Human physiology naturally dictates that you men aren't good at lasting. One person can't change that!"

"Hey bro, get in the fight! What are you waiting for?" the man called out to him.

Several other people joined in the commotion.

Where is Howard?

Surrounded by the nauseating stench of alcohol, sweat, and a mixture of bodily fluids, Huang Liang had absolutely no appetite and didn't even want to make a joke.

"Oh, Howard? He's having a fierce battle over there!" someone said, pointing to the maggot-like crowd crawling all over the ground in the middle.

Huang Liang hesitated for a moment, then walked towards the center. He needed to find Howard and find out why he had been called here; surely it wasn't just to attend a slutty party?

He walked into the crowd, his body emitting a strong stench. The twisted figures on the ground seemed oblivious to him, lost in their own frenzy.

He searched for a long time before finally spotting Howard. The man, whose hair was half-white, was thrusting against the chest of a fat woman, showing no signs of fatigue whatsoever. He looked energetic and vigorous, even more so than a twenty-year-old.

Huang Liang was unsure whether he should pull Howard up; he stood there for a long time, somewhat at a loss.

"Is he still a virgin?" he heard someone say.

A woman approached and took his hand. He instinctively wanted to resist, but he held back. He wasn't sure if his actions would give him away; there must be higher-ups and more powerful figures at this organization's gathering. He was here to uncover the secrets he had never been able to access; he wanted to know who they really were. As he stood among them, he grew increasingly confused, wondering if he was one of them, or simply one of humanity.

He glanced at the woman holding his hand. She was a beautiful woman with captivating long hair and a tall stature, even taller than him. He knew that the Netherlands was the country with the tallest average height in the world, and also one of the most open countries, but he hadn't expected it to be this open.

The woman pulled him out of the crowd and led him to a wine rack, pouring him a glass of wine. "First time here?"

"Yes." Huang Liang nodded numbly.

The woman smiled and handed him the wine glass, "You'll get used to it eventually."

Huang Liang took the wine cup, took a sip, and felt a little better as the cold wine went down his throat. Seeing that the woman didn't seem to want to... well, I mean... I feel like I've stepped into the Middle Ages!

"This is Netherlands!" the woman said.

"But we..." Huang Liang's eyes were filled with confusion.

"I know what you're trying to say," the woman smiled. "We are not human, we don't fear death, we don't reproduce sexually, and we don't have a sexual desire, but we borrow human bodies and inherit their memories. Under the influence of consciousness, our bodies are gradually losing their natural sexual impulses, but our physiological genes cannot be completely eliminated. We can only return to the primitive state of most species on this planet."

"You mean regular estrus cycles?" Huang Liang knew something about this; after all, he was a doctor and had personally experienced the process of sexual dysfunction, even breaking up with his girlfriend because of it. But what did this have to do with group parties? Did all these people experience estrus cycles at the same time? Wouldn't that make him seem very different?

The woman seemed to sense his thoughts and said, "Everyone's estrus cycle is different, but with some simple methods, it's possible to change it, bringing it forward or delaying it. Besides, this party isn't just about sexual release; for us, these human physiological desires are the least important thing."

"What was the purpose of that?"

Didn't Howard tell you?

"No," Huang Liang answered honestly.

"This guy's really senile. He didn't say a word, and seeing this scene on his first visit, no wonder he was terrified!" The woman said, raising her glass and clinking it against his. "Have a drink to calm your nerves. A little drink will help you relax. Cheers!"

Huang Liang also felt that the aroma of the alcohol could wash away the murky and disgusting smell in the air, so he downed it in one gulp.

The woman poured him another glass and said, "The fact that Howard sent you here shows that you are trustworthy and capable."

Huang Liang asked, "We're all comrades, what is there to doubt?"

The woman said, "Many comrades have successfully parasitized and suffered the backlash of human emotions, affecting the purity of our consciousness. Some comrades committed suicide, and some were dealt with by the organization after being discovered, but no one dares to say that there aren't traitors among us who have defected to humanity."

"Sign with humans? What benefits could there be?" Huang Liang asked deliberately, though he wasn't sure if what he was doing constituted treason. He didn't want to sue humans, nor did he want any benefits; he simply wanted to cooperate with Qingmu to find the truth he wanted to know.

"We don't understand it either, and we haven't found a real traitor yet, but we must guard against that risk." The woman clinked glasses with him again. "That's also why the leader has us lying low for now."

"Ah, wasn't it said that the passage was closed?" Huang Liang was surprised, as this was different from what he had previously known.

The woman laughed, "The passage being closed is one reason; the leader has personally gone to maintain it, and it's only a matter of time before it reopens. But if problems arise after successful parasitism, then the more people come, the more problems will arise, so it's better not to come at all. Therefore, we not only lie low, but we also want to hold this kind of party."

"What does this have to do with having a party? There have always been parties, haven't there?"

"Hehe, parties weren't like this before. Back then, we were all serious discussions about important matters; nobody came naked."

"So why now?"

"To prevent future intrusions from causing problems."

Huang Liang still didn't understand how throwing such a chaotic party could prevent an intrusion from going wrong.
