Watching them leave, Alice complained, "Men who've been in the military are so unreliable! They forget everything else the moment weapons are mentioned, as if weapons are their girlfriends!"
Mrs. Larry laughed and said, " Alice, if you want to win a man's heart, you have to try to like the things he likes."
Alice said thoughtfully, "But I don't think it's right for one person to have both a love for guns and a love for fishing."
"Human nature is very complex! Sometimes we don't even know what we want, and where do those inexplicable thoughts come from? Everything seems ethereal and illusory, like a dream. Only love is real. It lets us know that we are human, lets us see the responsibilities we bear, and gives us the courage to face difficulties and explore the unknowable future of humanity."
Mrs. Larry stood up and walked to the window. The lake outside was like a mirror, reflecting the sky. The three Sun, like three bright lamps, reflected an eerie light.
A breeze stirred on the lake, rippling the water.
She seemed to see a man smiling at her in the shimmering water, a smile full of love and the power to soothe all wounds.
The wind swirled around the bridge, whistling as it slipped through the hatches, gently ruffling one side of Mrs. Larry's hair. Golden sunlight illuminated her profile; thin, yet sharply defined against the outline of her Tushu, she appeared resolute.
Qingmu then discovered that this stern, rigid, and stubborn female scientist described in Captain Church's diary not only possessed an extraordinary sense of responsibility and mission, but also an unusual love. It was this mission and love that sustained this frail body, giving her immense strength to live tenaciously amidst both physical and mental suffering, and to steadfastly uphold her mission, dedicating herself entirely to uncovering the truth of humanity's past and searching for a way out for humanity's future.

The wind swirled inside the cabin, scattering Ronald Cohen's manuscript on the control panel.
Mrs. Larry bent down and picked them up.
She suddenly froze, as if petrified, half-bent over, holding the paper she had just picked up, an expression of disbelief on her face.
"Madam?" Alice asked with concern, "What's wrong, Madam?"
Mrs. Larry did not answer, but picked up the remaining papers. With each paper she picked up, she would stand there frozen for a moment, and as she picked up more and more papers, the expression on her face became more and more agitated.
After picking up the last piece of paper, she said tremblingly, "Mr. Qingmu, Mr. Stone, come and see, this is three-dimensional text!"
Qingmu was startled, and strange, indescribable images immediately flashed through his mind. Mrs. Larry had drawn the strange symbols inside the Sangqi Tribe's altar, and later analyzed them as possibly a two-dimensional projection of a three-dimensional language. When he saw those symbols, fleeting images appeared in his mind, as if fragments of memories composed of distant past events were floating in his mind, but due to insufficient information, or a problem with his brain itself, these fragments could not be restored to valid information.
He and Situ leaped up almost simultaneously and quickly reached Mrs. Larry's side. Su Huilan and the others also gathered around.
Sunlight shone on the manuscript paper, and the original writing disappeared, which was expected, as the ink had been fading since it was taken out of the cabin. However, the manuscript paper did not turn into a blank sheet of paper at this moment, but instead showed the faint shadows of some symbols, some dark and some light. As the sunlight continued to shine on it, the shapes of the symbols became clearer and clearer.
"This must be a special kind of developer, most likely used by the military," Situ said.
Mrs. Larry pointed to the symbols on the paper and said, "They should be the same language as the symbols I saw in the Sangqi Tribe, Mr. Qingmu. You were able to glean fragments of information from them last time, so what about this time?"
Qingmu turned the pages of manuscript paper and shook his head.
Mrs. Larry thought for a moment, then spread all the manuscript papers out in a square array and asked, "How about this?"
Suddenly, Qingmu's mind went blank. A bolt of lightning flashed through the darkness, illuminating something, but that thing quickly turned into fragments, like shards of glass floating in space.
He endured his headache and asked Situ, "Did you see it?"
Situ Jin frowned and said, "It can be combined with some of the symbols I saw before, but the amount of information is still insufficient."
Mrs. Larry said, "The symbols you see come from the altar of the Manti Stone Tribe. This piece of paper should have been obtained by Cohen from the altar of the Tuoxiao Tribe, which represents fire. Together with the one from the Sangqi Tribe, there are three in total. Try writing them all together and see if you can combine them to form a coherent message."
Situ nodded and said, "Alright, then we'll have to trouble you, Madam. We'll write them down on the deck."
They went to the outer deck, where the embers of a barbecue fire lay. They picked up a few unburnt sticks to use as charcoal and began writing on the deck.
Situ and Mrs. Larry wrote quickly, and soon finished writing down the symbols in the altars of the Manti Stone Tribe and the Sangqi Tribe. Then Mrs. Larry began to copy down the newly appearing symbols in Cohen's manuscript.
The Crow tapped Qingmu's head with its claws and said, " Guagua, caw, look at their memory, and then look at your head, sigh—"
It sighed, "I really don't know if your head was struck by lightning or burned by fire!"
Su Huilan laughed and said, "He was burned, so you were roasted."
The Crow rolled its eyes at her, Guagua twice, and seemed about to say something, but found that Su Huilan was ignoring it and staring intently at the ground.
Mrs. Larry has finished writing; the symbols from the three different altars in Ramla are now written together.
The chaotic information in Qingmu's mind surged forth again, much more than before, and the surging, magma-like things hidden deep within his mind kept gushing out, ready to erupt at any moment. However, his head was throbbing unbearably, as if those memories, once erupted, would burst through his skull.
He didn't know if Situ was like him, but that guy, who was always as gentle and refined as a gentleman no matter what happened, showed nothing on his face except for the occasional furrow of his brow. Duwa was also watching; she was even more composed than Situ.
Mrs. Larry asked, "So, did you see anything more?"
Situ said, "It's obvious that there are some things added, but it's still incomplete."
Duwa, seeing these things for the first time, exclaimed in surprise, "What are these? They seem to be able to be restored into fragments of consciousness through Mental Power?"
Situ explained, "These are all inscriptions from different altars. Based on experience, they likely record the construction process of the altars and the past history of Ramla, much like the inscriptions or murals found in the ruins of civilizations on Earth. If we can decipher them, we can determine the authenticity of Ronald Cohen's last words and perhaps uncover more secrets. However, this script may originate from a higher-dimensional language of a more advanced civilization, so deciphering it will probably not be easy."
"High-dimensional language?" Duwa looked at the symbols on the ground thoughtfully.
Mrs. Larry said, "Language is actually a form of information encoding. Generally speaking, communication between organisms usually uses an information encoding method that is one dimension lower than the spatial dimension of the environment and the book. We are three-dimensional organisms, so we use two-dimensional information encoding. Our brains can only understand two-dimensional information encoding, while one-dimensional information encoding suitable for computers needs to be converted before we can understand it. Similarly, our language also needs to be encoded and converted for computers to understand it."
"You mean to say that computers are two-dimensional beings?" Qingmu suddenly thought of GHOST— the Ghost that lived in the underground server room of the Mei Laboratory.
