To be honest, this book's popularity has exceeded my expectations. It's also the first time in my life that writing a novel has made me feel this accomplished. I'm incredibly grateful to all the readers who have quietly supported me these past two weeks. Other than that, I don't know what else to say.
I check nearly every one of your comments the moment they appear, whether they raise questions, offer praise, or even mock me. After all, if there were no opinions at all, it would mean this book didn't even get a response. So without a doubt, it is fortunate.
Whenever people read this kind of story where the protagonist isn't invincible, they unconsciously put themselves in the protagonist's shoes. So I have to make the protagonist's personality and values cater to popular tastes. We like beautiful women, we like getting benefits, we like showing off, and we curse at people and things that annoy us. That is why the protagonist's early journey is relaxed and funny. Of course, I'm not writing some dark, depressing tragedy either. The later plot will reach new climaxes, especially the original story's competitions, major changes to the protagonist group, and the appearance of new members.
A thousand readers have a thousand Hamlets. I was once a Douluo reader as well, so I have my own views on certain parts of the original plot, and I write them down. I sincerely hope that dear readers can share their own opinions and differing views instead of attacking me with harsh words. I will always respond calmly to every comment, and I hope everyone can also respect the author who works hard typing out these chapters.
I promise that tomorrow I'll update at least five chapters. I hope you all enjoy reading them! All I can say is that the plot will be beyond your expectations. Just treat it as a parallel-world Douluo II!
