I have some free time today, so I'll update two more chapters.

Everyone enjoyed watching.

When Lynn returned to her apartment by elevator, Natasha had already packed her belongings and was quietly waiting on the living room sofa. Upon seeing Lynn return, she stood up straight, her sharp posture still carrying the alertness unique to an agent, only her tense aura had lessened.

At this moment, in Natasha's mind, this trip was ultimately just an extension of her work. She was assigned by Fury to be stationed here permanently, and her core task was to monitor Lynn's condition and prevent him from losing control like he did during the war. Accompanying him on the trip was just part of her job, and she was already prepared to maintain her distance and observe calmly throughout the entire trip.

"Ready?" Lynn shook the car keys in her hand, her smile light. "Let's go. Today I'll take you to try some authentic China food. It's not easy to find an authentic China restaurant in New York."

Natasha nodded slightly, and the two walked out of the room together, heading towards the building's underground parking garage. The garage was filled with various luxury cars. Lynn walked confidently to a sleek sports car and unlocked the door. He opened the passenger door and waited for Natasha to settle in before returning to the driver's seat and starting the car.

The vehicle smoothly drove out of Stark Tower and merged into the traffic of New York City. The city was bustling and noisy during the day, with shops lining both sides of the street and pedestrians coming and going. Lynn and his companion arrived at a specialty restaurant hidden in an old alley. The restaurant was not luxurious, but it was full of life and the aroma of the food could be smelled from afar.

When they sat down to order, after asking Natasha if she had any dietary restrictions, Lynn rattled off a list of dishes he had been craving for a long time. While waiting for the food, the two chatted casually, mostly about the city's current situation after the Battle of New York and their upcoming plans. Natasha's words were concise and to the point, and she would occasionally casually inquire about Lynn's recovery, her tone calm yet revealing a deep concern. Her gaze remained subtly fixed on Lynn, observing his every move and expression, adhering to the duties of a secret agent.

One steaming dish after another was served, their rich aromas instantly filling the air. Lynn, who had been accustomed to bland Western food for days, ate with great relish, thoroughly enjoying his meal. Natasha, elegant and composed, also savored the food. The delicious dishes subtly eased her nerves, which had been tense for days. Looking at the young man enjoying his meal so freely, she found it hard to reconcile him with the obsessive, fierce, and almost ruthless fighting machine she had seen on the battlefield. She had learned from Tony Stark that his previous personality change was the result of an accident.

The meal was eaten slowly, without any rushing or urgent topics. Sunlight streamed in through the window, creating a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere.

After a satisfying meal, Lynn wiped her mouth and suggested, "It's still early, how about we go to the amusement park? I've been cooped up at home for days, I want to get out and relax."

Natasha pondered for a moment and nodded in agreement. For her, carrying out missions and processing intelligence had long been routine, so this kind of pure leisure was a rare experience. She still considered herself a "monitor," thinking that she could take advantage of the trip to continue observing Lynn's condition.

Driving to the large amusement park in the city center, as soon as we stepped into the park, we were greeted by cheerful music and bursts of laughter. The brightly colored rides and the playful tourists instantly put us in a relaxed atmosphere. Lynn seemed to have completely let go of all her worries and enthusiastically dragged Natasha around for a stroll.

He first took her to ride the gentle Ferris wheel. As the cabin slowly rose, the entire cityscape of New York City unfolded before their eyes, with buildings, streets, and traffic weaving together into a magnificent urban panorama. The two sat side by side, overlooking the flowing scenery below, silent the entire way, yet without feeling awkward. Natasha gazed out the window, the pure joy surrounding her slowly dispelling her initial wariness.

After getting off the Ferris wheel, Lynn tried out many other rides. The gentle carousel and the slow sightseeing train were pleasant, and occasionally Lynn would pull Natasha to try some rides with moderate thrills. Natasha remained calm and composed throughout, and even during the plunges and weightlessness, her expression didn't change much, which amused Lynn, who was deliberately trying to tease her.

The two strolled around, stopping frequently, exploring most of the park. Lynn would buy local snacks from street vendors and hand them to Natasha; when passing a toy stall, he would try his hand at ring toss and win a small plush toy, which he then casually gave to her. Natasha readily accepted the snacks and toys, no longer passively complying. She gradually discovered that Lynn never relied on his powerful abilities to be arrogant or domineering; he was open and easygoing, considerate of those around him, and possessed the same vibrant and interesting qualities as any ordinary young person.

Without realizing it, she stopped consciously tense up and mechanically carrying out her surveillance duties. The cold barrier between them, the "monitor and the monitored," was gradually melting away amidst the lively atmosphere. She began to look at the person next to her as an equal, no longer simply viewing him as a "work target" to be wary of.

As the sun gradually set in the west, the daytime heat slowly faded, and a gentle, warm orange glow tinged the sky. Darkness fell completely, and the colorful lights in the amusement park lit up one after another, their shimmering brilliance transforming the entire park into a dreamlike spectacle. The noise remained, but with a touch of romance unique to the night. After a whole day of fun, both of them were quite hungry.

They didn't drive any further, instead finding a cozy Western restaurant near the amusement park. The atmosphere at night was completely different from during the day; the soft lighting and soothing background music allowed them to relax completely after a long day. They ate more slowly, chatting about the interesting things they had seen during the day, creating a relaxed and harmonious atmosphere, and their conversation became more natural.

By the time dinner was over, it was already quite late, and the number of pedestrians on the street had gradually decreased.

"You must be tired after a long day?" Lynn glanced at the dark night outside the window, started the car, and said, "Let's go back."

The sports car cruised through the streets of New York at night, the streetlights casting flowing ribbons of light outside the windows. The interior was quiet and comfortable; no one deliberately broke the tranquility. The car drove smoothly all the way to the underground parking garage of the Stark Tower.

The two rode side by side in the private elevator back to their private floor. As they opened the door, warm yellow light streamed out, shutting out the darkness and noise of the outside world.

"I had a lot of fun today!" Lynn stretched, feeling tired after a whole day of playing. "It's getting late, you should get some rest. I'm going to my room now."

Natasha placed the plush toy she had won during the day on the table, tidied her belongings, and looked at Lynn: "Rest well. I'll notice anything unusual immediately."

In just a few words, the tone had long lost the initial formality and distance.

From initially being wary and solely focused on completing the surveillance mission, to now spending a day together, chatting and laughing, she gained a completely new understanding of Lynn. She saw the clarity and sincerity beneath his carefree exterior and understood the helplessness behind his loss of control. This young man with powerful magic was flesh and blood, vivid and real.

She will still stay at her post and fulfill her monitoring duties, but her perspective has completely changed. There is no longer any need for antagonism or wariness between them; instead, they have become partners who can treat each other as equals.

After a brief farewell, the two returned to their respective rooms.

After a noisy day, his mind and body finally calmed down, and the entire floor returned to tranquility. Lynn lay down on the bed, recalling the relaxed and pleasant time of the day, and a smile unconsciously appeared on his lips. Putting aside the dangers of the battlefield and the shadow of loss of control, this ordinary and leisurely daily life was particularly comforting.

As night deepened, the entire city slowly drifted into slumber.
