Yiteli, the Aosta Town.
A black pickup truck was speeding down the road in the center of town.
Inside the car were Mindy and her daughter Damon, who hadn't appeared on screen for almost half a year.
Both of them had a serious expression on their faces.
Damon was driving the car incredibly fast; Damon almost stepped on the gas pedal so hard it went into the accelerator tank.
"Dad, I only have one magazine left," Mindy said, checking the bullets in her pistol with a frustrated look.
Damon pulled two magazines from his waist and handed them to Mindy, saying, "Use them sparingly. Don't shoot anyone later, just shoot the tires."
"Damn it, wasn't Hydra supposed to be wiped out by the Captain? Why is there such a huge Hydra Base here?"
"I'm so annoyed, "Damon said.
"I'm sorry, Dad, it's all my fault," Mindy said apologetically.
In the past six months, Damon has taken Mindy on trips to make up for the years he has neglected Mindy.
Since they had no destination in mind and didn't care where they were going, the father and daughter just wandered around.
Two weeks ago, the two arrived in the country of Yiteli, rented a car and drove around aimlessly, and arrived at the Aosta Town a day ago.
Aosta Town, officially Valle d'Aosta, is an extremely remote mountain town.
The father and daughter originally planned to rest here for one night, replenish their supplies, and then leave the next day.
However, they discovered that on a mountain behind the Aosta Town, there was a castle that covered a vast area.
The father and daughter immediately noticed that something was wrong with the castle.
Its defensive capabilities are comparable to those of a military fortress.
Damon didn't care and didn't want to provoke these people. After all, the force that could build such a defensive fortress, comparable to a military base, in this place was definitely not a simple one.
But Mindy became interested.
In Mindy's words, the journey had been so Bored, and since they'd stumbled upon such an interesting place, how could they not go and see it?
Damon naturally refused on the spot.
Unfortunately, Mindy had long been spoiled by Damon. Having grown up with killing and adventurous thrills, how could Mindy possibly listen to him?
That very night, I changed into my gear and sneaked out.
Fortunately, Damon had the foresight to know that Mindy wouldn't listen, so he quietly followed behind.
Neither of them were ordinary people, but the castle's defenses exceeded their expectations; it was filled with high-tech equipment they couldn't comprehend.
Mindy was still unaware of the gravity of the situation, and continued to sneak deeper into the castle, avoiding the guards and surveillance.
Damon wanted to stop Mindy, but unfortunately he didn't dare to speak up and could only follow behind Mindy into the castle.
Mindy stumbled aimlessly, winding her way through a maze of twists and turns, until she stumbled into a room where she happened to spot a flag bearing the Hydra symbol hanging on the wall.
Mindy didn't recognize what it was, but Damon did.
No one dared to let Mindy cause any more trouble, so they slipped out from the shadows to stop Mindy from rummaging through the room.
It was at this moment that Mindy triggered some mechanism, and an alarm sounded in the room, followed by a piercing alarm throughout the entire castle.
What followed was a process of fleeing and fighting.
Fortunately, both of them had enchanted equipment given to them by Ling Yi.
A pistol with 100% accuracy, and clothes with 3,000 Shield points.
It was thanks to this enchanted equipment that the two of them were able to fight their way out of the castle.
And then they were chased all the way to where they are now.
"Dad, they're catching up," Mindy said, glancing at the dozen or so cars that had appeared behind them.
"Be careful to conserve your bullets," Damon reminded him, and continued driving wildly out of town.
Mindy poked her head out, then turned and fired a shot.
The pistol, equipped with a 100% accuracy rating, hit the tire of the car in front with a single bullet.
The car instantly lost its balance and, due to its immense inertia, rolled over and came to rest sideways on the side of the road.
Unfortunately, the wrecked car did not stop the convoy behind it.
Mindy had no choice but to fire again.
Although Mindy was almost able to take down one car with one shot, there were just too many cars chasing after him.
The other party was clearly determined not to let Mindy and the others leave.
It's understandable, considering this is one of Hydra's secret bases, and also one of the largest and most central Hydra Base in the world.
If outsiders find out, not only will the fact that Hydra still exists be exposed, but the base will also be completely destroyed, which would be a huge loss.
Therefore, they would never let Mindy and Damon escape.
Just then, the sound of a helicopter came from the sky.
"Fuck, there are three helicopters in the sky!" Mindy exclaimed.
The words had barely left his mouth when a volley of bullets rained down.
Damon quickly swerved the car from side to side, but even so, the pickup truck was still riddled with holes, and translucent Energy Shield appeared on Damon and Mindy's bodies several times in succession.
Fortunately, the car's engine wasn't damaged, otherwise they would have been stranded.
"The helicopter is too high; the pistol bullets can't do any damage." After firing two shots and finding no effect, Mindy had no choice but to give up and retreat back into the car.
"This bullet is too powerful; the Shield on the enchanted equipment won't last long."
"Driving is too conspicuous."
As Damon spoke, he floored the accelerator. Suddenly, Damon's eyes lit up, and he jerked the steering wheel, crashing straight into the cornfield beside them.
Damon slammed on the brakes and yelled, "Jump out!"
Mindy immediately understood Damon's meaning. Before the car had even come to a complete stop, she jumped out of the car and dashed into the cornfield.
"Follow me, we'll go up the mountain first. Once we're inside, we'll be safe. Stay hidden!"
Damon crouched down and came to Mindy's side, helped the dazed Mindy up, and then they burrowed deeper into the cornfield.
Shortly after they left, their pickup truck was shot down and exploded by three helicopters in the air.
The father and daughter now each have only one magazine left.
Mindy's pistol magazine only had a paltry three bullets left.
Fortunately, the two successfully used the cornfield as cover and followed a valley into the mountains.
However, they underestimated Hydra's control over this area.
Although the two managed to escape into the mountains, Hydra's forces immediately surrounded the mountain.
The father and daughter were completely trapped.
In the bushes of a valley, Mindy, her face already covered in dirt Mindy, said again, "Daddy, I'm sorry."
"Now is not the time to talk about this. This mountain is huge, and we still have a chance," Damon said, checking his magazine.
"If Ling Yi were here, that would be great," Mindy said.
"He's in Amaileken, he can't get here anytime soon, we can only rely on ourselves." Damon shook his head.
"What if he has a way?" Mindy said, taking out her phone.
He immediately edited a text message and sent it to Ling Yi: My dad and I are in danger in the Aosta Town in Yiteli, please come and save us!
The phone signal disappeared immediately after the message was sent.
Damon glanced at it and said, "Looks like Hydra has blocked the signal."
Mindy was familiar with this method of blocking cell phone signals. Reluctantly, she put her phone away and asked, "Dad, are they really Hydra?"
"It was just speculation before, but now it seems almost certain."
"But wasn't Hydra destroyed by the Captain long ago?"
"Perhaps the Captain didn't eliminate them all," Damon guessed.
It was around 6 a. m. for Mindy and the others, but it was just past midnight for Ling Yi.
There is a time difference of approximately six hours between Yiteli and Amaileken.
At this moment, Ling Yi was excitedly shouting like a fool as he looked at the new status skills that the system had just refreshed.
"Haha, System, did you just pull something big? I absolutely love you!"
Ling Yi originally thought it would take him eight months to a year to learn to fly, but unexpectedly, the system refreshed his flight skill today.
Touch of Escape: An extremely rare status skill. There is a 10% chance to trigger it when attacking, granting temporary flight ability for 60 seconds. Flight speed and altitude are determined by constitution.
Clearly, this is an entry used for escaping.
Regardless of what this skill is for, in Ling Yi's view, it's simply a flight skill.
As usual, first get the Skill Stone, then replace ten Energy Shield modifiers.
Ling Yi opened the system panel again and couldn't help but grin as he looked at the row of entries.

[Backpack: Omitted]
Ling Yi really wanted to shout, "Who else?"
But thinking of the Teacher Saint not far from here, Ling Yi suppressed the impulse in his heart.
The Ancient One is still alive, so we should keep a low profile, stay out of the plot, and avoid causing trouble.
Just then, Ling Yi's phone suddenly rang.
Ling Yi frowned. Who could be sending him a message at this hour? He only knew a handful of people since coming to the Marvel Universe.
There were hardly any people who mentioned a particular number.
"Could it be Natasha or Nick?"
When I picked up my phone, I was surprised to find it was Mindy I hadn't contacted in a long time.
Upon seeing the information above, Ling Yi's initially excited expression immediately turned somber.
Regardless, these were the first two people Ling Yi met after arriving in the Marvel Universe.
Ling Yi couldn't possibly stand by and watch someone die.
" The Aosta Town in the Yiteli Kingdom? Such a remote place, it shouldn't be relevant to Marvel storylines, right?"
"But why does this place feel somewhat familiar?"
Ling Yi checked his equipment and went straight outside.
He punched the air, and a strange feeling surged through his body. With a thought, Ling Yi soared into the sky and disappeared in the blink of an eye.
