"Put down the Tesseract, immediately!"
Nick was overjoyed to see Natasha easily subdue Loki.
"Now, who is the ant, and who is the boot?"
Loki wasn't in a good mood, but he wasn't panicked.
The Tesseract is still in his hands. Although he may not be able to beat this woman, escaping shouldn't be a problem.
"Angering a god is not a good choice."
As Loki spoke, with a thought, the Mind Scepter and the Tesseract simultaneously released enormous energy. A flash of light, and Loki vanished.
Dr. Erik Selvig also disappeared at the same time.
"This Loki clearly knows how to use the power of the Tesseract; my Mirror Dimension can't stop him," Natasha said, somewhat angrily.
"It seems we're in trouble. Loki certainly didn't come to Earth with good intentions."
"Next time I see him, I'm definitely going to beat him up," Barton said unhappily.
" Coulson, you return to S.H.I.E.L.D.. immediately, activate Level 10 alert, everyone go on high alert. Hill, access all surveillance footage. We need to find that guy; the Tesseract must be retrieved."
After Nick finished speaking, he looked at Natasha, " Natasha, I need to see Ling Yi."
This time, Natasha didn't refuse. She simply drew a Teleport Gate and stepped inside.
" Barton is with me," Nick said, and then followed him inside.
Barton, on the other hand, looked on with curiosity; this was his first day witnessing Natasha's magic.
Seeing Natasha emerge from the Teleport Gate with Nick and Barton, Ling Yi, who was chatting with Banner, smiled slightly, already having some guesses in his mind.

Thanos the Mad Titan, the Eternal Titan Clan, a cosmic overlord, a psychopath dedicated to wiping out half of all life in the universe; Loki was merely a pawn in his game.
"But why? Earth is just an ordinary planet in the universe," Nick asked, frowning.
"Why would he wipe out half of all life in the universe?" Banner asked, puzzled.
Thanos believed that the universe's resources were finite, and the ever-increasing population would accelerate the depletion of those resources, ultimately leading to the universe's decline. Only by wiping out half of all life could the depletion of resources be alleviated, allowing the universe to return to the state of balance that Thanos envisioned.
Everyone was speechless; this idea seemed rather sophisticated.
" Thanos is powerful, but even with his current strength, wiping out half of all life would be extremely difficult, even in thousands or tens of thousands of years. Therefore, he needs the power of the Infinity Stones."
Ling Yi was giving away spoilers because the curtain had been raised on Marvel's grand opening, and they would soon be aware of this information as well.
"What are the Infinity Stones?" Nick quickly guessed what they were talking about and had a bad feeling.
" The Infinity Stones are six Rule Stones that were created after the end of the last cosmic era."
" The Power Stone, the Mind Stone, the Soul Stone, the Space Stone Time Stone Reality Stone —each stone possesses immense power, but only truly powerful beings can control and wield Infinity Stones Infinity Stones. Even Thanos cannot directly use their power."

At this point, Ling Yi snapped his the Snap. "He only needs to snap his the Snap lightly to wipe out half of all life in the universe."
Ling Yi's words sent chills down the spines of the group.
" The Tesseract, is it one of the Infinity Stones?" Nick asked.
" The Tesseract is the Space Stone, and on Earth, not only is there the Space Stone, but the Time Stone is also on Earth."
Everyone finally understood why Thanos had set his sights on Earth.
"But why didn't Thanos come Plunder himself? Was he so confident that Loki would hand over the gems to him? You know, Loki is the God of Mischief," Nick asked again.
"Because he doesn't dare."
" All-Father Odin of Asgard, is still alive. He is a true power, Guard the Nine Realms for thousands of years. As long as Odin lives, no one dares to invade the Nine Realms."
"Earth, being one of the Nine Realms, is indeed, strictly speaking, Guard by Asgard. Therefore, it's not inaccurate to say that Earth is Asgard's territory."
"Besides Asgard, the Ancient One of Kamar-Taj is a being as powerful as Odin, who has always Guard Earth from invasion from other dimensions."
The group of people were shaken; these were secrets they were unaware of.
Nick, in particular, had always believed that S.H.I.E.L.D.. was Guard the Earth, but now it seemed that S.H.I.E.L.D.. was nothing compared to these Big Shot.
"Unfortunately, Odin's lifespan is nearing its end, and the Ancient One is only responsible for resisting dimensional invasions. Once Odin dies, Thanos will inevitably arrive."
"Gods can die?" Barton asked, incredulous.
"They are just a powerful alien race; although their lifespan is long, it is not infinite."

Ling Yi said confidently.
Upon hearing Ling Yi's words, everyone couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief. Yes, they still had Ling Yi.
Aside from Barton, everyone else had a general idea of how bizarre and powerful Ling Yi's abilities were.
"Let Loki do whatever he wants. I'll intervene when he uses the Tesseract to open the Spatial Teleportation."

Nick was also confused. Shouldn't they be capturing Loki at this point to prevent the Chitauri Army from invading?

Nick's One-Eye gleamed with surprise, and he said, "You mean...?"

Nick rolled his eyes. How was I such a bad person?

"This time, your enemy is an Alien army, an invasion by an alien civilization."
Steve looked at him incredulously, "Are you serious?"
"It will be soon, but you are not strong enough yet. You need to meet someone who will make you strong enough to face this war."
"Is it an experiment like the Super Soldier Program?"
" The Super Soldier Program is meaningless in the current situation, and besides, it's Copy; you are unique."
After a pause, Nick continued, "That person possesses magical powers; perhaps he can restore Peggy's youth."
Steve took off the wristband and tossed it aside, then looked seriously at Nick: "Take me to see him."
Ling Yi wasn't surprised at all when he saw Nick bring Steve over.
This is a hero with noble character, though he also has flaws, such as Winter Soldier.
But this is undeniable. Bucky is Steve's only friend in the world besides Peggy, and also Steve's only stubbornness.
