"Thank you for reminding us, we'll be more careful," Draco said.
The centaur gave them a deep look, then turned and disappeared into the depths of the dense forest, his figure quickly vanishing among the shadows of the trees.
The three continued forward, and before they had gone far, Hermione suddenly took a soft breath, pointed ahead, and whispered, "Look..."
A ball of pure white light shimmered silently among the dark fallen leaves on the ground, like a piece of moonlight falling down.
They moved stealthily toward it, their hearts sinking lower and lower.
That's right, it's a unicorn.
It is dead.
Hagrid's face instantly darkened, his rough hands clenched into fists, Hermione covered her mouth, and her eyes quickly welled up with tears.
The unicorn's long legs remained in the position it had fallen into, unnaturally stretched out, as if it were still struggling to run before it died.
Its silvery-white mane lay spread across the dark, damp fallen leaves, as white as the first snow, yet now stained with cold blood.
Hermione's eyes welled with tears, her voice trembling softly, "It's so pitiful..."
Hagrid gritted his teeth and muttered a curse under his breath, but he didn't know who to vent to.
The three approached the unicorn.
Just as they took a step closer to the unicorn, a strange, rustling sound suddenly froze the three of them in place.
A clump of bushes at the edge of the clearing shook violently, its branches and leaves swaying wildly.
Then, a hooded figure slowly emerged from the heavy shadows.
He didn't walk like a human, but crawled slowly on the ground, his back hunched, his movements strange, like a wild beast about to pounce on its prey.
The hood was pulled down so low that his face was completely hidden; only his large black robe could be seen, swaying gently in the night breeze.
The man crawled to the unicorn's side, slowly lowered his head, and greedily sucked the silvery blood from the gruesome wound on the side of the corpse's neck.
Hermione turned her face away, almost vomiting.
Hagrid's eyes widened in fury, and he was about to charge forward.
"Stop!" Draco couldn't bear to watch any longer; he still couldn't bring himself to do it.
As he spoke, an attack was launched directly at the black-robed figure!
He dodged to the side in a hurry, and the attack grazed his shoulder and landed on the ground, kicking up a cloud of dirt.
He slowly raised his head, his hood still covering his face, revealing only a pale, withered chin.
"Meddlesome brats... you shouldn't be here."
Draco shielded Hermione tightly behind him, his wand still shrouded in lingering magic, his sharp gaze fixed on the figure in black robes.
" Voldemort, your evil deeds end here."
The air froze instantly upon hearing this.
Hermione froze behind him; she truly hadn't expected Draco to do such a thing.
This sudden surge of courage and responsibility was more awe-inspiring than the black-robed monster before her, and for a moment she forgot her fear.
Hagrid's expression changed drastically, and his heavy body instinctively stepped forward to shield the two children.
If he had known that Voldemort was lurking deep within the Forbidden Forest, even if he were punished or expelled, he would never have taken his two children to set foot in this deadly place.
The dark figure under the hood only paused slightly.
There was no outburst of anger, no loss of composure, and not even an immediate attack.
He slowly raised his head, his hood still pulled down high, obscuring his entire face, leaving only a deathly shadow.
A moment later, a laugh that didn't sound like that of a living person slowly seeped out from under the black robe.
Voldemort?
He deliberately repeated the name, his tone carrying a deliberate contempt and bewilderment, as if he were hearing a completely unfamiliar word.
"What are you talking about, kid? You've mistaken me for someone else."
Draco didn't believe him at all, and thrust his wand forward, its light shining even brighter. "Stop pretending!"
"Only you would cling to life by relying on Unicorn Blood; only you would hide in the darkness of the Forbidden Forest, afraid to show your true face."
The man in black robes slowly straightened up, his robes fluttering in the wind.
He neither admitted nor denied it.
"A name is just a label. All you need to know is—those who stand in my way shall die."
As for Voldemort...
He chuckled softly, a feigned indifference in his voice. "That's a loser long since abandoned by the times. I'm not him."
Hermione peeked out from behind Draco, her voice trembling, "You're lying! Your scent, your power, the way you drank Unicorn Blood... it's all him!"
"A child's intuition is worthless."
The man in black robes tilted his head slightly, as if sizing up prey. "Your chance is to leave the Forbidden Forest and save your lives, otherwise..."
His tone suddenly lowered, tinged with a cruel mockery. "I wouldn't mind making you all part of this darkness too."
Before he finished speaking, the darkness around him suddenly surged, and a terrifying sense of oppression slammed down on the three of them.
Sensing danger, Draco decided not to waste any more words with the shadowy figure.
He knew full well that the man before him was as cunning as a devil, and that further argument would be futile; only by taking action could he end this endless darkness.
With a flick of his wrist, the tip of his wand suddenly shone with a golden light several times brighter than before. It was the Evil Spirit Banishing Charm that he had created by exhausting his Fortune Points to upgrade the system for the third time.
" Evil Spirit Expulsion!"
With a soft shout, golden light surged like a long river, rushing straight towards the hooded black figure!
Before the incantation even arrived, the wind pressure had already lifted the black robe, forcing the cold, evil aura back several feet.
Voldemort's body shuddered violently, as if he hadn't expected the boy to possess such formidable abilities. He tried to dodge in haste, but was firmly locked in place by the golden light and unable to move.
Draco remained calm, and with his left hand, he swiftly pulled a small, ancient-looking jar from his pocket.
Those were also Soul-Sealing Jar obtained through the system.
The jar is covered with ancient runes, and it exudes a powerful aura that suppresses souls as soon as it appears.
He flicked his wrist, aiming the jar at the dark figure bound by the curse.
In an instant, an invisible suction force burst forth from the jar.
The struggling, malevolent spirit was forcibly extracted from the body it inhabited.
It turned into a wisp of black smoke, screaming as it was sucked into the jar, and instantly sealed away by the runes, never to be heard from again.
Draco reached out and closed the lid of the jar, carefully tucking the Soul-Sealing Jar into his robes before letting out a slow sigh of relief.
His face paled instantly, and his breathing became slightly unsteady.
This enhanced Banishing Charm, coupled with the cost of using the Soul-Sealing Jar, left him utterly exhausted.
The body, now devoid of a soul, collapsed limply to the ground, its hood slipping down to reveal Professor Quirrell's face.
His face was ashen, his breathing weak, but his chest heaved, indicating that he still had a breath left and had not perished along with the evil spirit.
Hermione stood there, having only heard Draco mention that he "had a plan," but she never imagined that the plan he spoke of would be so earth-shattering.
They directly repelled the evil spirits, sealed Voldemort, and also saved Professor Quirrell's life.
" Draco... you..."
She quickly stepped forward and gently supported his arm, afraid that he might fall down at any moment.
Hagrid, standing to the side, was completely dumbfounded, remaining rooted to the spot for a long time.
He hadn't expected this young man to possess such extraordinary abilities, sealing away even the Dumbledore had struggled with without a word.
After regaining his senses, he exclaimed in shock, " Merlin... Merlin's beard... You... you actually... you really took that thing?!"
